No problem, I've been enjoying your productions and I'm about to check out solomons folly. As for the balcony floor: I shot through the wood with high velocity rounds (as opposed to shooting them and making it look like it) I didn't know if I could do this but one of the most recent mods I added was called: Penetration by WickedHorseMan. It makes bullets pass through various objects depending on material etc... Changes gunfight dynamics I imagine too. I could see you putting it to great use in some of your videos/shorts the way you do confrontational situations that manifest into the need for Arthur to clean his weapon at the end of the day. Remember the scene in Dirty Harry Magnum Force where bad guys try to highjack a train and Inspector Callahan says "get down" and shoots through the back of the fuselage compartment wall and the 44 mag bullet goes through and guy falls into the sight of the camera - something like that would be amazing and is possible with this mod. I highly recommend it (it hasn't conflicted with my materials.meta to my knowledge and I use a ton of non RDO related mods).
@@Red_Dead_Director sounds interesting, I have looked at the penetration mod, but I thought it may cause me problems, but I will check it out as it does open up all kinds of possibilities, the one you mention is a very good idea would look very cool, always annoyed me the way the last man hides behind a wagon this would solve that problem. Confrontational situations made me laugh 😂.
I cut off the intro because it was getting way less views than a video with a quick one. WERO 5 has a long intro and I'm not touching it because its (i'm not a brash person) a masterpiece... I look forward to releasing it .. but its dark.... Gotta wait longer now because of dirtbag mass shooters litteraly doing this in real life... I just like the physics.,.. pretend they all have bounties on them...
I am not very familiar with Euphoria mods so I still can’t decide which one to go for. Also not sure what level of PDO is the best and which file to download for compatibility. Any tips would be highly appreciated 👍🏻 P.S. Arthur with NPC John’s hair - now I have seen it all 🤣
I just saw this. The latest PDO, I believe 2.0 is the one that has been out for a while and it works great with euphoria mods (the toggle for it in the ini is already set to enable euphoria ragdolls by default last I checked). It works pretty great without changing settings - although if you use tie your lasso hangman edition I like turning off the annoying yelling because I just replace the audio in videos myself and its really annoying to hear that generic screaming from peds. Because when I'm not doing an individual showcase I like to mix the ragdolls per recording session, I use all of them fairly frequently, but here's the hierarchy according to my experience: (and also considering the way you play in your videos which is really immersive to be completely honest) 1) WERO 3.3 (5 second Delay Option) - Which is included in the default main WERO file that I believe was released and last updated in September 2023. 2) CERR - Like WERO, optimized for other mods I don't necessarily use but it's been worked on extensively to compliment stuff 1899/GunFX (WickedHoseman mods) - I use the Heavier Bodies option which is included in the default latest version. 3) AEM - By the creator of WERO, this is probably one you would really-really like given how naturally everything feels and looks. I probably use AEM and CERR the most for shorts because the headshot reactions are great. While CERR is the king of the arrows, AEM has about as good of reactions. It has more of a realism factor than WERO and CERR which a lot of people strive for (but its also great for spaghetti western feel play) 4) REM - It's great.. Feels kind of like CERR and AEM but a little less customizable than the 3 above - I was surprised how good this one was. The chair reactions are memorable to me for some reason. 5) DRO - I've been recording with this recently and while it has some fast reactions some of the time (like blowbacks) its got a realism factor in terms of headshots and those blowback reactions do work well if they are against a wall or some kind of interactable object that they can fall off of etc. 6) RAREP - Basically tied with DRO 7) LLRO - It's great on realism but the headshots and the reluctance of the author (for understandable reasons he's got a life and I imagine these things are time consuming) to update in the near future make it frustrating to use when you are coming off of something like CERR or AEM. The headshots feel stiff as the peds almost perfectly compose themselves to curl and fall immediately down the same way every time. But the rest is pretty great. I just like headshots knocking them off balance, and yes... I like them to grab their heads even though it's not realistic - godfather police caption style - this option can be turned on in the metaphysics (i think that's what it's called) file by changing the toggle on - the author has instructions on the default version file how to do it) But.. they just just curl like turtles and drop with headshots anyway so its not really something I would bother with. 8) BDERO - I might be undervaluing this one - I had a frustrating recording session with it last I used it but I do have some fond memories of it from a year ago. They have some long reactions which are cool when peds are near obstacles. This could easily fall above DRO they are so closely lumped together. The Top 4 are one's that If my computer was stuck and I had to use only one of them permanently - any of those 4 I would be happy with for the way I play - There's a big quality gap between 4 and 5. Damn, I'm writing a capstone paper on Euphoria mods... sorry got zoned in for a second there..
