The DB SOARS has more of a in your face type of sound, where as the X20 just sounds a little smoother overall.

I own the X20, & I can personally say that it’s more well suited for outdoors as opposed to in home listening. It truly excels at louder volumes, due to the LINEAR volume stage. Its volume gradually goes up giving you more headroom at the loudest volumes, significantly reducing distortion.

I agree with you 100 percent, the x20 honestly sounds great indoors but Is definitely better and excels at outdoors, I'm going to do some outdoor test soon

@@Luke-qs2cg Well, maybe some of the people watching don’t know. Just because you follow most speaker reviews on RU-vid, doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone else does. I’m just trying to keep consumers aware of this product. I personally own one & I’m confident in saying that for the money spent at $224.99, you,lol be hard pressed to find a better speaker.

x20 definitely has more bass and sounds more clear to me. f29 sounds good decent bass but it keeps up with the x20 good

Agreed, I definitely like the x20 better but I'm really surprised at how good the dbsoars is holding up to the competition

I definitely enjoy listening to the DB only because it's just a lot easier to move around take with you best thing is the weight.. I personally think after about 85% x20 just starts pulling away from it gets louder and more bass.

I agree with that 100 percent, the dbsoars is super nice to listen to but definitely the x20 pulls ahead past 80 percent volume

Ya honestly the dbsoars is a much better speakers than I would have thought but the x20 is still better especially at max volume and outside

Jag...I agree with your opinions of this match-up. And I'm surprised. I thought the X20 would wipe the floor with the DBSoars, but I think the DBSoars sounds better throughout most of the comparison...although Im wondering if some X20 eq adjustments would change the outcome. Listening through my soundcore earbuds the X20 does not sound as balanced. And tell me if I'm wrong, but am I seeing the F29 on Amazon for $69 (USA)?

Your not wrong honestly the dbsoars is surprisingly good, I did have the x20 on custom eq which I use for all of my test, usually the x20 does wipe the floor but surprising the dbsoars really held its own till about max volume

X20 wins here no doubt. Db sounds good and also bass. But the x20 has 5 drivers which gives a good clarity to sound specialy the subwoofer. Unlike db has slightly flat. I have now x20. I wonder how to connect to same x20. Do you have any idea?
