We always recommend that the professional removes 80% of the product from the hair. Excess product in the hair, high temperature of the straightener and dyeing the hair will always result in lightening of the hair color.

I got this done yesterday for the first time , I did not like that it has changed my hair color I have black hair now it’s a lil brown , does anyone know if i will ever get my original hair color back ? Thank you

@@anna_poppova No , I had no idea how to do it and I would not be doing it myself it’s a long process. I got it professionally done at a salon but the stylist told me up front that the color would change a lil bit but I didn’t think it would be so different! I like how straight my hair became but I like my black colored hair better if it’s supposed to bleach my hair at each application I will not get it done again I will just stick to the regular keratin treatment.
