Brilliant video. I was struggleing to get mine loose so was mainly looking to see if there was a 3rd bolt ot a clip. Using a lock / sling as a sliding hammer idea is Brilliant and worked spot on. Ill definitely use that tip in the future. So simple aswell 👌👍
If you loosen the bolts very slightly on the EGR valve first, then turn on ignition and give moderate amount of revs, then the EGR valve will become loose and easy to lift out
My egr valve on the same car was impossible to budge, my method to remove it , was to pull the car into the garage, jacked up the front a bit ,then-tied some strong string around the egr valve and tied it to one of the wooden rafters in the roof of the garage, then slowly let the car down, and it popped right off
I have a w204 facelift and i got problem with MAF sensor or something like that, i change the maf sensor( original continental) and i got same problem, i change the air filther with a original mb filter and the problem persist...
CLK 220 CDI won’t budge ! but will try again with a sling and a hammer as shown . Will try next time to slacken bolts half way then give it a few revs to lift it up.
