W204 C300 Cold Start (x-pipe w/ 2nd cat delete)

This is a cold start in the morning after the car's been at rest for a full night. The car's had its resonator and secondary catalytic converters deleted. X-pipe installed as close to the downpipes as possible with straight pipes all the way to the mufflers. So this is a cold start with no secondary cats and no resonator.

ps: the flashing is because they're LED tails and yeah, the car is matte. matte white:)

We need a drive by to hear it while driving... revving at a stand still doesnt quite sound the same once there is load on engine while driving...

Hey, I'm 12 years late but I wanted to ask if you had any drone while running this setup.. or at least if it was horrible. I'm currently running an X-pipe with muffler delete, but I've got some highway driving coming up so it's not sustainable long term. I need to put the mufflers back on but I don't want it to be too quiet with just an X-pipe. How did you like this setup? P.S. happy to see you got a C63 :)

hey man I wanted to ask so your setup has no second cat and no resonator (resonator replaced with x-pipe). are there any drone while you're driving? on highway speed? do you ever feel like it's too loud and do you think it's worth it? I know it voids the warranty for the engine related stuff. please let me know!

@335ipower11 I can actually post a video of what it would sound like. I've done straight pipes before, but honestly, I felt like it was way too loud and the droning got annoying. Plus, it shakes so much that I worry for the health of my car. lol.

Cool, what is interesting is to make video "passing by" and start, as to me, it shows the result better. I am thinking of modifying exhaust as well, what to do to make it more sporty but not too loud.

@335ipower11 I actually have notches cut into my pipes right behind the muffler and it gives the same effect as straight piping it. Currently, there's metal sleeves that cover those holes. When the holes are covered, the exhaust sounds like it does in the video above, but when they're not covered, I'll post a vid to show you what they sound like.

@mikonuj917 Yea I'm still debating wether to get straight pipes or not. But yea if you could post a vid with those metal covers not on I would much appreciate it. Just wanted to get a feeling of what it would sound like with straight pipes. And again thanks so much man your car is beautiful!

Those are stock tail lights with led bulbs you can buy anywhere. They dont flicker in real life just on camera they appear that way my dude

No, I sold the car some years back, but it never gave me any problems. I actually have a '13 C63 now, and have the same set-up but with 2.5-inch piping, but no issues with it either.
