You are so fast! Nice job for overview, no words, just results. The "connectors-within-a-connector" were tricky on my car but you have it down better than a NASCAR pit crew. Would be nice to find a slow version of this with more help for newbies.
No, we design, engineer, and build our own products. The navtv piece you got is actually a really nice product but you have to buy two seperate pieces to get the video to play all the time; we spent a bunch of time combining the video-in-motion and cam/aux programmer into one piece to save the end-user a couple hundred dollars.
@osakla Yes the VIM module will work for your vehicle... The region code can be changed using the dealer service software but only to a different region and it can only be changed a maximum of 5 times.
YOU ARE THE MAN! Is that the NAVTV Module? I am having it installed Thursday night of this week. He is also adding another video input in the glove box.
I have a c class 2012 all the radio functions work except when I turn up and down the volume there is no sound from the speakers, I did a circuit check and it tells me that loudspeakers open, you have a video related to that case.
I followed your guide, but I noticed that my mercedes w204 01/2008 does not have the plug with the two orange cables. can you help me understand how to solve? I thank you and hope for your help
HAS ANYONE DONE THIS FOR NTG4 OR CAN GUIDE ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON A W204 2009? (FLIP OUT SCREEN) I FITTED THE CABLE IN BUT THE FLIP OUT SCREEN WOULD NOT WORK? ANY HELP?
Guys if your after the latest APS Europe NTG1 map DVD you can get it from TechZo just type it in google. I brought it and video on motion is enabled with the disc these people are selling so no need for engineering mode. If they don't have your disc contact them. Just thought I share with you guys.
ı have 2009 C200 in turkey ı dont have this automatic opening closing monitor in my car. my monitor is fixed and ı wanna buy the monitor, tv, camera to see back while parking, and navigation. do u sell all these things thnx
@chrisg2080 Yeah... thats a terrible idea... Sure you can cut the network connection with a toggle switch but (1) you lose steering wheel control (2) lose driver display (3) lose illumination (4) the car will log errors (5) the command will shut down (6) rear cam gets disabled... oh and (7) teleaid gets disabled so if you crash the emergency personnel will not be able to locate you or even talk to you... This is a mercedes...most MB owners dont want to hack up their car like its a yugo.
I'm not sure who is worse, the installer who is knocking and beating, yanking plugs out like someone just yelled "The Cops are on the way!" or the guy handling the camera ! I think they are both on Crack! If you are trying to do an installation video, S-L-O-W D-O-W-N so people can actually see what you are doing. A narration (in English) would also be helpful. We are not trying to see if it CAN be done, we are trying to learn HOW TO DO IT.
The dude was trying to sell me BOTH pieces of NavTV gear + 300 installation...put me over $800!! I need to get your piece...please have TJ check his email. Thanks
