W222 S-Class is a Fine Wine 

I don’t want touchscreen on the infotainment system of the s class. The whole point of that cluster of buttons and the wheel is to not reach for the screen while driving.

Just bought one last week, its the best car I've ever had. Everything about it is amazing, I prefer w222 much better over the w223.

I think those wheels look great , and I love my two spoke steering wheel on my S class , it’s gorgeous thick wood with beautiful “Mercedes Benz” logo on it

Do you guys think the the pre-face lift looks more coherent with the rest of the car and more classy?

Like the grand homes of 100+ years ago. The thing that will kill this car is the huge change in lifestyle and what is needed in a car. People carry so much crap woth them everywhere they go now. God forbid they have kids. A sedan just cant handle much. Can it even get a trailer hitch for a bike rack? A range rover will handle all that.

please be aware that If you're just coming here the features in this vehicle are almost basic compared to what they offer in a fully loaded S Class! How can you judge it as wine if you went to the corner store and bought the boxed version? You talked about the Distronic systems like they weren't that good but didn't have a car equipped with the full system.. This one was so basic it had no packages in the rear at all.. Great review but I think the car was misrepresented due to lack of a more equipped model Like my 550 4Matic.

Can't compare it to old school Benzes such as W126. W222 will never outlive a W126 or W123!

You better read this: The W222 engine is worst engine ever built by Mercedes Benz MY2013 - MY 2016 or 2013 to 2020 S class V 8 “The exhaust valve assembly might not work properly etc. this means you need a new Cylinder head or both! The Water thermostat open at 217 Fahrenheit, Water Boil at 212 Fahrenheit you must remove the coolant to clean the coolant back flow. The temperature reading in the car display never goes aver 200 Fahrenheit I check the engine temperature was 217 to 225 Fahrenheit without any fan coming on (Back flow) the manual warning on page 295 if the coolant temperature is above 257 Fahrenheit do not drive. The rigged the software “wrote a CALL” like they did in the Mercedes Benz Diesel Engine. The exhaust valve problem trigger “Fuel system monitor not completed” 17 states in the USA DO NOT PASS inspection to drive the car “Done” and you cannot do anything about.
