thanks bro for taking the time to clearly explain this. for the c-class cluster, a used one in theory from a w203 like a c55 should work apart from mileage and h/l range and fuel working right? i heard there was a kombi protocol converter that will get functions to work, which is an alternative to coding, i can send a link to what i found, but interested in hearing coding services or where to get a precoded cluster

This might be stupid, but what if you put a c class fuel sending unit into the gwagon? Would it not work then or is that not the issue?
