Good hunting, Guy. The scrub looks like Mallee or small Mulga bush? Fewer flies with a breeze it seems. Hard out through the middle of the day, I'd wonder though if I could wait out the hot hours with things light and easy until it's bearable, but are there enough hours before dark? Lines of the bigger scrub leading to floodplain although those scoured clean flood lines are most interesting, any boil holes along them? If the run of water-worn flattened pieces continue along the ancient channels over a broad reef, your eagle eyes and maybe the drone might give you cause to swoop in for the chunkier meaty sunbakers, or the buried potato nuggets!
