This competition is now a waste of time, after the introduction of the Big Bash state cricket has been squashed, no one is interested any more in the 50 over one day game.

@@spateri728 T20 has basically killed it, last year Australia played England in a 50 overs at the MCG sadly only 10k turned up to watch.

@@sovietonion72 what day was it? Was it a dead rubber? That's you're conclusion? A lot of states didn't have many spectators at the BBL games...Perth killed it. Maybe play ODI's here. I'd be happy.
