Wacipi is a wolf at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary. I had a hand in raising her from a 2 week old pup, so she knows me as an elder. As an omega wolf, she is shy, very gentle, and loves to make sure my hair is clean and free of parasites.
So cute and hilarious at the same time.. I had a cat that would groom my head while I was sleeping lol..I’d wake up freaked out until I realized what was going on
That is sooo cool. If I was not dedicated to supporting cheetahs, the North American wolf, bear & puma would be the animals I would help conserve. Wolves are one of my favorite animals and so misunderstood. But I could not take a grooming like that from a cheetah or I'd be bleeding. I wish they had wolf tongues.
Sure is cool. Those wolves love him, just as the cheetahs you visit love you, even if their grooming is trying to slowly kill you. I still watch your videos though. :) Myself, if I had the opportunity to work with grizzly bears, I would take it. It's been a lifelong dream. Just not sure how realistic that is, as I'm a city dweller, disabled, and in a power wheelchair. Ah well. Still, I've felt a kinship with these animals since I was quite young, and I want to help care for them.
SweetBearCub if you ever get the chance, maybe you could move out west and find a conservation that needs someone to educate the public or help with the office! I hope you can follow your dream!
I've been out there to volunteer several times, you're a lucky guy. She has only come up and "inspected" me once in all the times I was there. She seems to be coming closer the more I go but she still stays behind Ishta Maru most of the time lol
Where is this? I would love to travel to the USA just to see Wolves, they are my favourite animal can't say enough how much I love them ❤ I'd be visiting from Australia
for one, wolves are bigger than domestic dogs except the great dane and even then only by a little. two, they are much faster and stronger. and three, they are awesome (though domestic dogs are awesome too)
Where is Wolf Mountain Sanctuary? I want to visit USA just purely to see Wolves ❤ and the people are great too, have met many Americans on my travels around the world and they are fun people, Hope I get to see Wolves that is my absolute 💯 bucket list, I'm in Australia and love my home, but no Wolves, not even in any zoo in the whole of Australia due to a outdated hundred year old law that no Wolves are to enter Australia, I need to visit desperately! 😊
