Mams really makes you appreciate how much of a good promoter that someone like Eddie Hearn is.

Im glad that some of the community is pushing for this. Not only does Slim deserve this fight for basically being the number 1 contender, this also benefits KSI. Technically speaking KSI in his most impressive flat out win was Temperr. Fournier was a no contest, Fury was a loss. This beefs up his record beating Slim and keeps him active. Im afraid it looks like KSI is only going to be fighting once this year.

The over arcing point to all this is that Slim has not done a good job at selling himself to be in the ring with KSI even with his results and resume so he expects US to push it for him when a lot of us don't even believe that fight's competitive. Slim needs to pull all his chips in now, even if it costs himself a relationship with the promotion or get the hell out the way and Mams needs to be more direct

Slim isn't really deserving of a KSI fight. He went life and death with Tom and taylor and then got dominated by papi the whole fight (until slim clipped him), not to mention want a scrappy fight against Temperr. If KSI was in Slims shoes, everyone wouldve hammered KSI for that performance given he got hammered for his performance against Tommy Fury.

Faze Temper isn't a huge name and neither is Pineda or Swarmz yet ksi fought them and still sold out the arena so what's the issue with slim not being a big name. Slim would promote the fight better than pineda, swarmz, fournier and temper ever could. Temper literally talked like he already knew that he was gonna lose. Slim would come with bravado and confidence which would actually hype up the fight a lot. Also, ksi has fought at 175 and even lower many times and he's said that is his optimal weight. Ksi also forces Jake to come down to 180 or even lower to fight, yet when it comes to slim, all of a sudden, ksi is too big and only fights at 185 plus? The contradictions aren't adding up

They're making KSI seem like he is levels above, when all he did was star jump and clinch himself to a lose to an injured Tommy Fury. No actual boxing took place when KSI fought. I see Slim winning simply because he uses and has boxing fundamentals, which we were able to see with the Salt Papi fight. KSI fans are overhyping a mediocre performance from KSI. This is a fight that needs to happen, even if it is a "tune up" fight. This fight is a lot closer then people give it credit.

I will say this: Although Slim has fought at 175 plenty of times, he does struggles to make that weight and specifically maintain that weight. If KSI & Slim were to fight I think a sold agreement can be made for the fight to be at 170 minimum or maybe lower possibly, a catch weight.

Misfits sounds like an awful combat sports organisation when you think about it. You have these smaller influencers slowly climbing the ranks, refining their skills and delivering us great performances one after another. All of that in hope of one day cementing themselves as one of the best fighters in the scene which would require a win over the top guys - of which one of them is KSI. But when you actually do get to the point where you should fight a KSI they tell you all your efforts are for nothing and you have to be content with peaking at number 2.

Look Im going to be real here as a long time KSI fan... I've been following him since even before his first fight against Joe. He has not been fighting serious opponents besides Fury as of recently which credit he did put alot out there that he does have the dawg in him to go to war! But right after that to me he should've said fuck it and go to the Jake fight! If he was willing to go against Fury why is making the Jake fight not happen? I wouldn't think it be that hard to make it happen especially with the weight. That a whole other issue is the weight like wade says Mams has specifically said 168 is he optimal weight. So why can't Slim get the fight? Slim has always been disrespected in the community. He deserves the shot he's always proven lots of folks including me wrong. I'm sorry but it makes more sense to go from Tommy Fury to Slim, than it does to go at Tommy Fury again, or someone with a similar or higher skill level than Tommy Fury. I'm also sorry, but KSI's gameplan going into Tommy Fury was not to try and box him, or outbox him, it was to scrap, hug and scrape by on points. Protecting your fighters against someone that could potentially knock them out in what I would argue would be a competitive bout, is not IMO a way to build stars..
