Hey family! I just want to reiterate how proud I am of Kelly for coming on here and sharing her story. I know that it’s difficult to relive that type of trauma, and she did an amazing job!
If I’m the family of those murdered women I’m suing the police department. The DA. The state. EVERYBODY who dropped the ball on charging this man for hard R a woman. This man should have been in prison. And if he was in prison. Those two women would still be alive. Freakin sad man. And pathetic. Our judicial system and policing in this country is absolutely EMBARRASSING
Hate to say it but to say those woman would be alive if he were in prison is ballsy, people choose to let people like this in their lives, both woman picked him up from his looks and charm and let the devil in the door! How does someone move forward in a relationship after something like this? Not only was she a victimized by her boyfriend, but the police that should be protecting her. It's so nice to see her speaking out and holding detective Potter accountable. Empowering.

You are right about that. Dogs have a sense, and he was by her side as soon as soon as she was telling her violent experience. He was there to comfort her. That's a good dog.

Brain damage . Needs to have a thorough evaluation and brain scan . Dude has a lot going on and is a danger to everyone including himself. Anyone who is infatuated w this guy and willing to risk their own freedom for him has also got mental issues.
Exactly this paired with mental illness. Look at Aaron Hernandez. Everyone said he was normal then boom. I know Wilson had at least 5 concussions. More research needs to be done about people with these injuries and their lack of impulse impairment and aggression.
@@beanybabyrabieI don’t think that’s what they were trying to do, it’s more about trying to prevent this kind of thing from happening as much. Brain injuries can cause people to do things that they would ordinarily never do, I think this guy was just evil though.

I was going to be a cop after I got out of the service as it was the only other occupation other than working in gas stations, I knew. I got to be friends with some of the deputies but after socializing with them I started to realize how corruppt they really were. I dropped out of school, quit associating with them and eventually I started my own business which I retired and sold at 55.
@@Emmanuelx13 This started back in 1976 where things were different back then. Cops could just flash a badge and they would be on their way, drunk or not and worse. Before you start to be a LEO ask yourself one question, do you want to be in the public eye and put yourself into a career where you never know if you'll go home at the end of your shift? I always live by the motto " do what you love and enjoy doing, the money will follow ". Good luck with whatever you do and don't be afraid to take chances.

Me too. I wanted to go in to stop the corruption in our town. But then I realized it wasn't just local, but nationwide and I'm not that ambitious. I took a different route and raised good kids to go be the light.

Hey JD i live in fort myers and my coworker is actually the one who did his joker tats and other tattoos on him in county jail here in fort myers. he was in county jail with him for 5 months and wouldn’t mind talking to you about his experience around him.

@BryanBirr Replying to boost this. If youre legit and your buddy did those tats, write JD and see if you can get your buddy on, if hes willing to talk. Am curious though, howd your buddy feel about doing tats associated with a prison organization? I know tattooists locked up sometimes do tats for many different organizations, and have no beef even if the various organizations have beef with each other, and some tattooists only do tats for certain organizations. Did Wade tell your buddy he was connected to an organization?
JD, I grew up with my parents working as COs in the prison system down in arizona. As a result of that, especially from my dad, I grew up with the bias against people who'd been locked up. I've known for many years now that that bias was unnecessary and I'm happy to say that I know for sure today that I have more thoughtfulness and nuance regarding people who have been locked up. I'm thankful there are dudes like you in the world, who went through experiences where you made mistakes, paid your dues and are now out here doing God's work. I salute you, sir. Thank you for doing what you do, being Who You Are and everything in general.
I was abused by my boyfriend right after I turned 18 (I lived in FL) and the police blamed me and arrested us both but they took his charges off his report and left my arrest on my record even though the prosecutor told them I was the victim and they could not press charges against me. Now I have to pay a lot of money to get that arrest removed when I was very much a victim. Their excuse was it was right in the middle of the OJ Simpson trial and said both parties have to be arrested even though they didn't want to arrest him, 6.4' Marine and me 5.6' 100lb girl with cuts and bruises'
It is so shameful how some law enforcement officers view, and treat the victims of DV, who are attempting to turn to them for help. The rates of DV are much higher amongst members of law enforcement, than in the regular civilian population. Probably that's why they are so biased, and judgemental against the victims in those situations. It is very wrong that they think it is okay to behave like that, and it really sucks that you went through all that when you were trying to get help.
It was in Iowa, but I was almost arrested for defending myself against the man who attacked me. He was taller and bigger and able to lift hundreds of pounds...I was COVERED in bruises and had messages from him proving he started it, and I was only not arrested because he caused me to lose both breath and consciousness when he strangled me. He went to prison and nothing that bad happened to him.

My heart goes out to her. My mother endured a similar experience with her ex husband in Florida - literally the tied up, assaults, gagging, all of it and never got justice. He got acquitted and then went missing with multiple warrants for him. No justice for women in Florida.
I am from Lee County, I was in Fort Myers for a court date and was at Centennial park and came across this guy Wade was working out he asked me if I had a lighter and I asked him if he had a cigarette he lit one and gave me the rest of his pack saying he was going to be quitting anyways. I sat there and talked to him while I smoked the cigarette, he was telling me about his night a the budda bar and was waiting for his girl etc the Fort Myers pd found him sitting in that womens car after i talked to him. I could tell something was off about him. I ended up violating probation months later and ended up becoming a trustee I ended up I was doing the 3rd floor downtown jail I said whats up to him and I found out what he did and realized he just killed those two poor women right around when I talked to him. Its crazy to look back on to think I was around him just hours away from his murder spree. My heart goes out to the two women and their families.
@ryotanu Im not the op but i encountered a murderer once. Not like someone out gangbanging and shot someone type murderer. But a guy who had killed his ex and buried her in the desert i grew up in, and then a sex worker later. I didnt know he was a murderer when i spoke with him, his victims were found later. He hit on me (im female) at a huge party. At the time of the party the ex was in the desert and the sex worker was in his garage freezer. I talked with him briefly but I thought he was creepy af and asked one of my big male friends to act as my bf because of him. Theres something *wrong* with them. I dont know how to explain it. Its some sort of gut instinct. Maybe its the way they move or talk or the look in their eyes. But you just get this feeling like "this person is wrong, stay away". If you get that feeling ever, trust it. Year after this party (he was a person of interest in the missing person of his ex) they found the sex worker in his freezer and he confessed and went down for 2 counts 1st degree murder.
@@ryotanu I could tell he was high on something from how he was talking so fast and exactly what the comment under yours there is just something off about them. Its just crazy to look back on and realize he probably had their blood on his hands and him giving me the cigarettes and I have a good memory and remember all of what he said to me, he was telling me about his prison time and how he got jumped by a group of black guys who kicked him in the mouth and broke all his teeth so if he ever cracked a smile you would see he teeth are all broken.
That happened to me!!!! Detective Larry Brown in Cincinnati Ohio didn't even have cst come to my house and dust for fingerprints!!!!! He stole my bus pass which the bus has cameras and detective Larry Brown did NOTHING!!!! He told me I'll arrest him when you come to me with his name!!!! This guy strangled me at 4 in the morning. I wake up to this. Then I didn't wake up for around 8 hrs. My nose was broke my lips were busted in 4 places the back of my head was busted. My fingernail clippers were in the puddle of blood. My entire face on my right side was black and blue my neck was red and blue. This wasn't the first time he did this and there is no telling how many other women he has done this too!
He said she looked like Spaghetti not that he wanted her too. Not that there's much of a difference but thats the testimony on court records. He told his dad this when he confessed an his dad turned him in. His dad also said as much in court.
I haven’t followed this story, but I have watched several videos of JD Delay, and what captured my heart was how her dog reacted when she told her story.. 😢 Immediately I was hooked. I cannot imagine going through what she went through, and praise god for therapy to help her speak on a public forum like this to share her story. Her pup was built with a lineage of DNA to protect her and I have SO MUCH RESPECT for both of them. I’m not sure if she realizes the power of animal therapy, but her pup was picking up what she was putting down and had a natural instinct to comfort her, even though she didn’t realize it at the time. My god, she has been through some serious trauma. What a miracle she is still alive. Stay strong, sweetheart! Keep sharing your story.😢 ❤

Great Job JD!! Great interview! As a survivor of hard r I can say no one believed me at the time. Not even my parents. This was many years ago, later in life this person went on to do this to three other women. Was tried, convicted but got off on a technicality! Still free today! Let me just say, I was under age, had no clue of this happening and it did. To this day, I have PTSD, nightmares, anxiety attacks. The way police, investigators look into what happened to women is wrong. Yes sometimes there is false accusations. But not every time should you assume anything! What needs to change, training of police, training of judicial system, new laws to protect women and children from being hurt in any form!
Mate your interview skills are on point! You never interrupted her, not once, you would let her talk until she was really finished and then asked great questions. Im just inspired by you and your story, who you've become and it just seems to me that you were made for this. Keep it up legend!

Yeah people love to say "just call police" Personally from childhood to 30... 9 times out of 10... Police not only fail, they go out of their way to fail. I tried reporting my dad for not feeding us, locking us out, (which left me just as much access to food as I had inside the house) Jasper Indiana (county I believe it was) dispatch (on God) told me I needed to have a parent or guardian report it... I had my mom report it. They told us it has to be a parent on the state. They told me my dad had to call and report himself. Not in those words, but it's what they said. I just told Mom dont even worry bout it. I'll be just as fine as I always have been. Less than 2 years later I was living with Mom.. I was 10-11 then. I've reported child abuse, neglect. All of it... EVERY TIME... It made things worse. My brother in a state trooper in Indiana now... Pretending he can make a positive change... I'm sure he'll help some people... But he'll do more harm than Good The best officers I've ever talked to, multiple have told me "there's usually a big difference between what I know in my heart is right, and what I'm allowed to do"

If you go to officer Tatum's RU-vid channel he has a video and it shows a sniper on top of a building I reckon it would be a secret service guy or somebody with the local law enforcement but he was looking through his optic and right before the shots rang out he stopped looking through his optic as soon as he stopped looking the shooting started and I have also heard I don't know if this is true but supposably a cop went up to that building and the dude who shot at Trump pointed a gun at the cop and the cop went back down to safety I guess. An multiple people we're telling secret service and the police somebody was up on the roof. Just thought I would let you know because I mean this is our country we are talking about right now.

@@ryotanu he was really good, sweet and caring. But he suffers a lot with his mental health. After he overdosed he wasn't the same. He would overthink everything and would freak out for everything. He would always say is cuz he's not right and he would tell me to be patient with him. He is really bipolar and schizophrenic. He is a sweet talker but he could flip in a sec.
@@hotpink4884 His behavior wasn't just Bi-polar disorder it was textbook Sociopathic. I lived with one for a year who used to be a friend but would rather smoke her weed(illegal in Pa at the time) than see a psychiatrist and get proper treatment & medication.

I was sexually assaulted in 2004 and the police officer handled my case the exact same way. It made me close up, go into hiding, and never talk about it again. I always thought that if someday other women came forward then I would too. Because just my voice alone wasn't enough. And people wonder why women don't ever come out with their stories or wait until years later. My attacker still roams free and I feel guilty about it everytime I think about what I could have done differently or said differently to the cops for them to act on that monster and put him behind bars.

For instance, she said in a TikTok video that she met him in february of 2019 but it’s been proven that they knew each other wayy before that. plus he didn’t even see her as a gf. he even ran away with her friend . True, she was abused by Wade and Wade is a horrible human being, there’s no right in defending him.. But that does not make Kelly a saint!
I don’t believe she tried hard enough to get this man locked up. Be real. He would have been in jail in any state in the country. But she loved him and won’t admit. The state needed her to testify but she kept going back to him.

I just listened to one of his jail calls where he is telling a man that they will get married, along with some explicit sexual things. I was unaware that he is attracted to men as well as women.
After listening to Wade W’s prison phone calls with his current girlfriend Melissa “Mila”-all of what Kelly is saying is exactly what WW is doing/saying with Mila too. He assaulted her punched her in the face & yet she’s Kiki-ing it up with him still calling him daddy & baby. Granted she(Mila) set him up. She recorded phone conversations while news reporters were present which she then released to the news. It blew my mind when Mila badmouthed Kelly for speaking up & speaking out about her truth/case. Which told me all I needed to know about Mila. Maybe she’ll heal & realize she needs help after all of his abuse. My heart breaks for Kelly. I can’t imagine having to endure WW’s horrific abuse & then the blatant negligence of Potter/PBSO! Shame on the detectives & police officers who failed her! I hope she gets the opportunity to rebuild her life. The trauma will never go away & there’s no amount of $ to repair her spirit after such a horrific assault yet, she deserves the validation and peace of mind in every way. I've been in that particular county jail. I'm a woman but visitations are the same. Video and a phone. He's probably in a solitary cell in the main jail building I'd think with his notoriety. Otherwise men going to prison at put in a "prison tent." As far as him having contraband. If he's in solitary that would be close to impossible. I need a lawyer that likes to go after cops in Ga. Somebody stole 3 vehicles and burnt two sheds down on my property. The cops are like, what sheds? They say go to the fire department. Fire department says what sheds? There was a brush fire. I hate this bs

If a man or a woman is out of your league as far as physical looks go that right. There is usually a red flag about their mental stability. But I guess she just thought she hit the lottery. I'm sure he had other women with ours with her as well.

She got abused twice. First from Wade and the second time from the Florida police department. I’m so sorry she had to go through this mess but happy she made it through the other side. I hope she succeeds in suing them so this may prevent another woman from going through a double trauma like she did. WTG girl! 💪
