Today was adventure! We started out fishing a local lake trying to break my PB largemouth bass and then ended up hitting a spillway on the river for some late afternoon multispecies! We didn't know how it was going to go, but we ended up getting on some crazy good fish! Follow along to see how it all goes down! The best fish-catching days I ever had was while wading shallows (up to 3.5 feet) on Lake Lavon northeast of Dallas. Most of them came from water a foot to foot and a half deep. All were caught on Bumblebee paddle-tail jigs (white, yellow, chartreuse, or combination of those) or black/chartreuse tiny tube jigs with concealed lead jig.

Too much moisture in the deep fryer. Try letting your fish dry out in the refrigerator, then drying them all off again with paper towels. Also do your first dusting with corn starch, then egg wash, then fish batter/coating. Drying them and using the corn starch will make them much more crispy and you won't lose batter into the fryer. Hope this helps.

Great video with some great friends. Just a thought .. I grew up on one of North America's best Perch fisheries. Everyone thought those great 1lb fish would never run out so DNR relaxed the spawning season ban. Guess what .. perch fishing is now banned and if you hook one you're lucky if its 6" and 6 oz. Just a thought but we have to protect the resource. Keep on fishing.

Hey Cole try some dryer sheets pen on on the back of your shirt right up at your neck and I’ve put 1 in my bay hanging down on my neck and they seem to work to keep them nats away. Love your videos keep up the grind.

that's fascinating. it looks like those are temporarily flooded waters that these fish are home in. seasonal flooding, where the crappies learn this? because normally temporarily floods just dissipate fish.
