Love how Kim uses the juicer/whisk to juice the lime but then doesn't use the whisk to mix the marinade. Also, love what's for dinner videos. She's so funny.
Kim, I love how you always mention not using up a lot of different dishes. I absolutely love cooking but I can't stand washing dishes even though I have a dishwasher too! I'd rather clean everything in my house all day than to wash dishes lol!
All of your dishes looked dynamite Kim!!! Thank you so much for giving me some fresh ideas and a new brownie recipe. I have a hard time liking homemade brownie recipes sometimes. But I love an oreo cookie! As always you are such a delight to watch and always bring many laughs and smiles my way. Very grateful for you sweet lady!------------------Tressa Daigle
This one tastes like it's from a bakery. One of the best 'homemade' brownie recipes I've had. I know what you mean. many of them are crap! -- And I've tried a whole lot of them!! Hope you like it if you try it, let me know!!
These all look amazing, just added everything for the gumbo to my grocery order! The Matilda reference is my favorite part. I always joking tell my 6 children that things are "much too good for children!" Thank you for making these videos. They give me so much inspiration and put me in the mood to cook because dinner keeps happening Every. Single. Day.
My toddler and I love watching you! He loves when you cook and do grocery hauls so please do more so him and I can cuddle together more! 😂 he turns 2 February 14th ❤️
Who else noticed the egg shell in the brownies and thought Kim there’s an egg shell, please see it 😂 LOVE your Wads for dinner videos! I always get so much inspiration from them! Thank you for your positivity and genuineness!
Ahhh! I’ve been waiting for your wads for dinner videos to come back! Their some of my favorites and I always get great ideas for my husband and I! They all look sooo good.
I love your cooking videos! Im going to make the Panera soup for my kids; they love getting that. Did your vegetarian friends know the soup had chicken broth in it 😬?
Yummy and I've only watched the first two recipes. Asian grocerers always have Five Spice or check the Import/International grocery aisle and there are Fish Sauce alternatives with less salt and "aroma" ...Coconit Aminos, Soy Sauce orTamari work. Use the same amount as in the recipe.
The colour difference between the coco powders is because pale coco powder has corn starch in it but black coco powder is just coco powder. Guttino's makes an amazing chocolate creamed cookie. Gluten free. Delicious.
I LOVE your desire for trying new foods. Fish sauce (patís) is a necessary ingredient in many Asian dishes I.e. Filipino. Many of our dishes are super forgiving in the fact that you can add more veggies or more proteins depending on your personal preference or in my household, how far I need to stretch my dish. Lol! I’ll look through my cookbook for an easy Filipino dish that based on your vlogs, your kiddos would like to eat. Be warned, it does indeed contain fish sauce but I’m hoping if you try it in it’s traditionally used method, you’d like it. Wish me luck. *Pulling out my personal recipes * Huge hugs from Hawaii ☀️🌴🌺🥰
I love your what’s for dinner videos so much, my son stole one of my headphones and he was listening to you too lol hopefully we can get a meal prep video soon
Hey hey lovely lady, ooooh snaps I am in love with your what’s for dinner videos, the kids and I have tried the honey lime chicken, Oh Yesplease So Yummy Too Boot, But the big kicker is that Oreo brownie ummmmm yummy need to try the kids and I will for sure be making that tonight oooh thank you for sharing hehe I always seem to glance over a few things on Pinterest hehe 😉 we hope your enjoying the absolutely beautiful weather from our family to yours
Gotta try the Sesame Chicken. Looks delicious. Regarding cheese in your soup. Typically cheddar cheese loses lactose in the cheese-making process. Check out Cabot Cheddar for sure!
Your amazing 👏 I'm so thankful I found you!! My cooking skills are about to be bumped up a million levels and my new appreciation for thrifting is about to save me loads of money 💰
Kim, would the food processor have worked for the broccoli and cabbage chopping? Didn't know or think to use the broccoli stalk guess I never gave any thought to how cole slaw is made lol. Do you ever watch Acre Homestead? she made homemade oreos with the black coco powder the other day. I may have to try that recipe.
Glad I found someone who is also not a fan of fish sauce( I always thought I was the only one). I’m a huge fan of seafood and love salty fishy smell most of time but for some reason I just can’t stand the smell or taste of fish sauce . I always just substitute fish sauce with soy sauce or hot sauce. You can never have too much hot sauce ❤️
Gah yes! All the meal delivery coupons/credits always drive me nuts! Takes forever to figure out what you want or can get based on what’s open and blah blah blah and then you end up spending more than you even wanted with the coupon because everything is overpriced and then it’s an hour and you give up and you’re still hungry and have to cook. Idk how people do it or spend the money on it! These recipes look delicious, thanks for the inspiration!
@@brilliantbutblue lol. I should but my husband is still sleeping and don't want to wake him up. He suffers from Chronic pain so I'll let him sleep. Have a fabulous day friend.
@@MrsAlmaTrumble: I am so sorry to hear your Hubby is suffering so much, this must be hard on you. Hope whatever you end up making it puts a smile on his face. Take care ❤
Sad to say I’m not a cookies and cream fan. Would change the biscuit/ cookie for a different one. Perhaps bourbon creams which are a favourite biscuit of mine. 😋
Kim...knowing how much you hate to wash extra dishes, have you ever thought about buying the slow cooker liners. I don't like cleaning the crockpot so the liners are wonderful. You can find them with food storage bags, foil etc. Love you. You make me laugh outloud and my husband asks if I am watching your video.
Well something I don’t like even more than washing dishes is probably wasting something that’s unnecessary lol for me crock pots are actually pretty simple to wash- if it were more challenging I would consider it though
Hello Kim, the brownies . The Oreos it call cookie and cream. Please say hello to everyone for me. 👍🌈🌺🦋❤️💖😘😊🙏🏻 God Bless from Edith in cairns Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 Cheers!!!
I love your videos. My children and I watched this video. As you were making the gumbo, my little cajun kids were saying, no! Lol. It looked like a wonderful meal, but my 2 year old just kept saying soup. If you want to try authentic gumbo, check out the cajun ninja on youtube. BTW cajun and creole seasoning are very similar. I use Tony's in my cooking.
Kim, my four year old daughter loves watching your cooking videos, she calls you "the cooking girl" lol. She gets so excited when she sees your kids make an appearance especially Meredith. Love and light to you all ❤
for the soup, wouldn't adding the chicken broth make it non vegetarian for your friends that were visiting? or are they not super strict about that kind of thing? i always enjoy your recipe videos and often try some of them on my family.
I love listening to/watching you while starting my day. "You can use a rolling pin, but I just use my frustrations..." You make me laugh all the time. Thank you for being you!
Kim, a tip for the chicken scewers. If you put the marinade in a saucepan and let it boil for a couple of minutes, you have an amazing sauce for the rice and zucchini :)
@@catwmn14 I’m sure it’s fine technically, but I agree. I usually double the marinade and put half in with the meat and then simmer the other half and maybe add some cornstarch to make sauce when it’s about time to eat
super mom mode = being able to cook while having your child on your hip! YOU GO GIRL!! Love all your videos and thanks for helping me start my day in a great mood! :)
Girl you are so funny! You remind me of two of my very best friends. I am a decent baker but not good at cooking meals so I really appreciate your meal ideas along with the comedy!
