This is a wonderful tutorial, thank you so much for sharing x A Question please - have you ever made a white orchid before? Not sure what they are called but they have the two big petals and usually on a long stem with big leaves?
@@RustyFrench1234 You are a princess and I thank you from the bottom of my heart - I have just searched Anna Astashkina and I am in awe! Thank you so very very much xoxo
Really ...i hope you realize that with your neat accent. And the video that you often act like you are talking quietly to yourself...hard to hear. Rattling paper too. The flower was beautiful.thanks..do more.
You can use a very light spray of water but be really careful as too much water will dissolve the wafer paper. It will also take longer to dry. Look up Kara Buntin on RU-vid. She has a recipe to make wafer paper more flexible using glycerine and gelatine. The final result will be a little different but effective all the same. 😊

I have seen wafer paper flowers on buttercream cakes but haven’t done it myself. I would advise using a crusting buttercream like American buttercream and waiting until a crust forms first. ☺️
Hi, I haven’t tried it but I think it would be fine. Why don’t you try a test strip? You can actually even use water but very lightly and it takes much longer to dry so slows the process down a lot.
Yes, you can use rose spirit if allowed. Otherwise, use waster but use it sparingly so your wafer paper doesn’t dissolve. It will take a bit longer to dry. ☺️
Thank you! I’m sorry I don’t know...there’s no grading on the label. I’d say it’s average thickness, very much like a sheet of printer paper. I think you could do this with any grade, just adjust the amount of liquid, less for very fine and more for very stiff wafer paper. ☺️
Thank you. ☺️ im quite nervous because its my first time to use wafer paper. I am used to fondant flower decorating 😅 thank you so much for this very informative video.
Arooj Mehak Hi! yes, you can but you just need to use it very sparingly. Too much water will dissolve your rice paper. It will take a little longer to dry. If you have a spray bottle with a fine nozzle, that will help. Have fun!
