We travelled to Hexham to witness first hand the inspiring story of Wag and Company, a Northumberland-based charity dedicated to visiting elderly people who are experiencing profound loneliness. Many of these individuals have lost friends and family over the years and find themselves unable to care for a dog any longer.
Wag and Company steps in to fill this void by bringing the joy and comfort of canine companionship back into their lives. Through their dedicated volunteers and lovable dogs, they provide much-needed emotional support and friendship to those who need it the most.
