WAG12 is (Bo-Bo)+(Bo-Bo). Can go up to 120 km/h with upto 4500T of dead load WAG9 TWIN is (Co-Co) + (Co-Co) . Used in scenarios where dead load is >4500 T , and speed is limited. It is tough and unsafe for (Co-Co) locomotives to go beyond certain speed (hauling large loads) , so WAG12 and WAG9 twins are for two different purposes.

Hehe...wag12 sucks in gardient section...can't even haul 4000t...where it is a piece of cake for wag9h mu😅😅😅. .....extra 20 km is usesless because loaded rakes itself can't go beyond 100kmph😅😅😅...rakes are not fit for 120kmph...hehe😂😂😂😂...

I just wanted wanted to know one thing, Although ALSTOM and SIEMENS are one of the Best Locomotive manufacturers, Why are they still not bringing features that are available in Other countries like Europe, France and Germany. Why our Loco pilots are not getting these facilities and Well designed Locomotives
