Only 2 bands I really want to see in concert right now: Lovebites and Wagakki Band. WGB shows sell-out within hours in Japan. WGB shows are huge productions, much like TSO shows.
I love LOVEBITES and Wagakki Band. Please continue to react to the Wagakki band. I would like to recommend a song. It is a very energetic song with several short solos for each part. Wagakki Band - 拍手喝采(Hakushu Kassai) / Dai Shinnenkai 2018
In the live video, there is a scene that seems to be shooting with a smartphone. This is one of their stage productions, and they ask the audience to turn on their smartphones only at this time. Around Japan, there are ethnic groups like China and South Korea that steal intellectual property such as copyrights without permission. Japan has suffered so much damage that it is nervous about protecting intellectual property. Of course, it is also prohibited to take pictures at concerts and movie theaters without permission.
they have a very wide range of music style, they have some songs at the heavy side that make your head bang, like reload dead and Ukiyo heavy life (浮世 heavy life), you would like to try them out too
The crowd has to be reserved. Just like with LOVEBITES in their Heavy Metal Never Dies show, WGB's crowds from 2020 on have been on government-imposed restriction on singing along, cheering, attendance, etc. "Sun Wheel" is one of their heavier songs along with "Guernica" and "Ignite," both of which were performed at this same show. The TSO comparison is apt as I've made the same comparison. They both have tremendous variety in the music, large amount of musicians on stage, great production values, and the both evolved out of another entity. Now, years later, TSO is still playing Savatage songs live and I feel like the only person in the arena that realizes it. Speaking of which, I got into Nightwish because a friend of mine that worked in a music store in the mall knew I loved Savatage (and still do) and was like, "Hey, we got this album called 'Century Child' from a band called Nightwish. They kind of sound like Savatage. You should check them out!" Anyway, if you want to see a more vocal crowd, check out "Hoshitsukiyo" from the 2018 Daishinnenkai. It has a killer melody, tons of crowd participation and interaction, and some great visuals. I'm not requesting a reaction to this one, just something to check out since you're a drummer. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S0vgO06m2NQ.html
