The harp like instrument is called a Koto, the 4-string instrument is a shamisen and the flute is a shakuhachi. They have many arrangements of Doppo and I think the best version of Doppo is from the Symphonic nights concert

the mask in the first part of the song is a traditional japanese theater mask... what you see is rock/metal with traditional japanese instruments and vocals. nice that you found this group

They put on really great live shows. They did a US tour a few years ago. Not sure if they have toured internationally anywhere else. The lead singer (Yuko Suzuhana) just had her first child a few months ago (she is married to the koto player). I don't know if that will affect their performance schedule.

Lead singer Yuko, is also an excellent jazz pianist...she is married to the Koto player. And, Beni is amazing on tsugaru shamisen, as well as a very fun person. When she steps up for a solo, the whole atmosphere changes. There is a video of her bungee jumping.

The instrument is called "Shamisen" it's a sort of Japanese banjo. there are many types and kinds and each is suited for different styles of traditional Japanese music. the most famous type is called "Tsugaru Shamisen" and it's made from cat skin. there is also a type of round body shamisen from Okinawa made from Snake skin.

Lead singer is a mother since two years ago. I only get to see them once in 2019. My mind was blown in a small stage. Not sure if the band will go live anytime soon.

Waggaki band have 2 drum kits, one of them is traditional Japanese drums and another regular drum kit with double bass.

The horizontal harp is called Koto. It, and minor variations, are found throughout East Asia. edit: Here is Luna's page. She is a South Korean musician who plays traditional and western music on her gayageum. This is her cover of Stevie Ray Vaughan's Scuttle Buttin'.

[Wagakki Band will take an indefinite hiatus by the end of this year, marking the 10th anniversary of their debut] Suzuka-san is married, has a baby, and is busy raising children, but each of them has their own place, and I think that's the basics.This is how legendary bands are born. you fail to know that the viewers know when you are watch/listening to the band. People come to see the reaction to the video, it is disrespectful to the people in the video and the viewers if you cannot focus on it and not on chat. Do one of the other not both.
