It’s not unplugged! and I think it’s set in the mix so it blends also yes fishmans on a fender is odd !!! idk if u knew this but that guitar he is playing is a Jim root signature but modified with a paint job and obviously fish mans installed

He’s playing the clean arpeggiated lead that goes over the chorus chords. It’s buried in the mix so you might’ve missed it, but that’s the proper muting technique to play the part cleanly.

He is way better than you 🤷.Also the mime part exists because people are dumb. Its not same as Doomsday. Scales are different, riff's tails are different whole vibes different to each other.Also Cody mentioned that he wrote that riff before Doomsday was out so.You shared your opinion & I shared the facts lets just enjoy music.
