we don't share the same beliefs but i love your mindset and how you live your life. even though i'm not christian, or even religious for that matter, your advice and way of living has honestly changed the way i look at things. i don't think i'll become religious any time soon but you've still helped me look at life in a better way

@@anthonyfaleiro1248 no hate brother but it is the same as going to church. People who choose to go to church, choose to listen to the pastor preach. Those of us who choose to watch Gibby, watch because we want to hear the inspiration. Music is a form of art whereby especially in the rock/metal industry is performed by people whom have struggled through things a lot of us could never imagine. All Gibby is doing is using their experience and advising that anybody who is going through all of that has a way out. You might not be a believer but trust me, there are people watching that need his God Fearing advice. I am a believer and I wished I had the courage to spread the word like he does. Anyways point is, if you don't like the "in your face" approach, don't watch because you might not need it but a lot of others probably do. It's possibly what attracts them to him. It is "his" audience if that makes sense.

I'm not one to try and correct anyone's thoughts on the lyrics of a song, but I think you are missing the point of them. I think this song is more from a point of view that life is a sort of purgatory. Right, like the "heaven is full, and when hell don't want me back" is a sort of play on words that meaning its not his time for the afterlife, and he feels stuck by his "badges of bad habits". I know lyrics are subjective, but that's what I gather from them. like he feels as though heaven is at capacity so he's not able to get in at the moment. Much like what you said at the beginning of your vid, we don't see the full picture so we tend to see rough patches of life as "setbacks and relapses" rather than the rough part of the road to get to the ultimate destination. That's just my thought on the "heaven is full and hell don't want me back" bar.
Reminds me of my youth group paster when I was in high school who wanted to do fun things with us and took us to warped tour (he did this more than once, he knew what to expect) and Attila came on 😂

Wow your faith is impressive! I’m not as religious as I was when I was younger, but you’re mindset truly is remarkable! Anyways, this is easily my favorite song on the album and potentially my favorite wage war song of all time. Gives basic hate a run for its money for me lol.
