Waialea Bay - Dedicated to My Dad 3 of 10 - Island Horizon Videos 1488 

In 1999, I left the Big Island after living there for 5 years
and moved back to California.
Practically every night I would dream of being back on the island.
In my dreams I would be floating along the coastline
or on the beach of Puako.
I always knew it was a mistake to leave the island.
In 2003, after a turn of events,
I decided now is the time to go back or the chance
would never come again.
That was over 20 years ago,
and one of the best decisions I ever made.
