The Labrynth got me before i knew what it does... the artwork is so cool, like elementears... i warten to play it just because of the artwork... then i understood the effects... i fell in love 🤩

Hey Dkayed, I just wanted to thank you again. I reached Max Dlv yesterday with Sword Soul. My last duel was against Branded Despia. Thanks to you I stopped the "Ido Combo" with Called by the grave and so I won :)

If you have the field up and a fiend on field, you can ghastly glitch and send chaos hunter from the deck to GY, with the field eff bc you activated a non-labrynth you can special summon Chaos Hunter from GY and completely shit down Runick (which they cant use any of the Runick spells to get rid of because the banish isnt optional and since they cant banish all their spells do is special summon monsters from extra deck)

I really like this deck. I don't normally play trap decks, but this one feels good to play. No floodgates either. Turns don't take forever as well. It's great 😊

Subterror Guru is the REAL waifu.

I have been testing this deck in different ways. Now it is a card i do find interesting which is Labrynth Barrage. Not many will look at this card and say it's the greatest card in the world. Yet if you use it right then you can avoid cards like Ash. What the card does is it copies any normal trap used on your field. So if you use Welcome Labrynth then you can use Labrynth Barrage with it to summon twice that turn. You can also use it with other cards as well. So that Dimensional Barrier becomes two instead of one. That gashtly archfiend card becomes two at the same time. It's a fun card to use. I am thinking of doing something insane with this deck but not sure if it will work yet lol.

Labrynth is such a sleeper hit. Can't wait for the other Labrynth boss monster that lets you set a trap from deck.

If you are playing archfiend (which you should in MD, never know when a 3000 attack towers will show up at your doorstep, it's a quick searchable out), I recommend playing at least 1 Farewelcome Labrynth, it's a free plus 1 if you summon archfiend as that sets it directly from the deck and it's not a bad card to draw either. It can stop you from getting OTKed rarely, but mostly it's useful for negating your own attack to proc your effects on your turn without expending resources.

I'd drop 2 imperm for eradicator epidemic coz it triggers the field when used and is a runick counter. Also chaos hunter can be summoned via arian or field. Wind pegasus @ignister should be run with ntss. To spin one back. For flavour, u can run reckless greed to draw 2 every turn and it counters runick since ul skip 2 draw phases.

You could add number 77 in the extra, 4000 beatstick with some protection and can banish opponent' ss monsters, plus its a R

It’s weird that the labrynth monsters are fiends even though they look like they could be either spell casters or fairies. It’s a fun archetype though.

I've been using 2 temple of the kings and it works great for when I go second, too good with lovelys and the servants effect to set traps too. And been playing eradicator and full force viruses. Been having a blast with the deck.

This is the most fun I've had with a deck in since generaiders. Can't wait for lady of the labrynth to come

Labrynth Archfiend is like the Labrynth furniture monsters like Cooclock etc., it's some sort of spirit possessing an otherwise inanimate ornamental suit of armor.

I've been enjoying playing Labrynth more as an Anti-Runick deck with cards like Imperial Iron Wall, Anti-Spell, and Eradicator Epidemic Virus while looping Glitch or Compulse with Lovely to pick apart my opponent's board and hand. It's surprising effective against none Runick decks as well like Swordsoul and Branded just because of the ability to lock out banishing and instant spell activation. It can be hit or miss though because Wall and Anti-Spell are harder to get too, but when you establish the board people just insta-scoop.

Been playing this since it dropped and the deck is just very interactive and can definitely out grind the opponent. One thing that’s really broken is being able to run the virus cards alongside basically being able to resummon bagooska from grave at will with the field spell, giving the deck time to recover but just completely halting your opponent 😂😂

Couldn't the D/D/D player xyz'd into marksman king tell to burn for the last 1000? It says in it's text "during either player's turn" ,assuming he took effect damage that turn, he could've chained it after all the effects went off to be first to resolve in the chain? Even compulse wouldn't be able to stop it

I hate labyrinth decks. I couldn't do anything even with a herald deck

Your build is the one most people are using it but you can make a much better build than this one. I used to play with those handtrap monsters of the arquetype but they are inherently a minus -1 in card advantage. And also, Back Jack is nice but a little too slow and gimmick. What I would say is: Drop all the level 3 or lower Fiend monsters, just play with the servants, Lovely and Lord of the Heavenly Prison. Add 3 Solemn Strike to break boards with Torrential Tribute, drop the imperm for something better like Titanocider and also, last but not least: USE ERADICATOR EPIDEMIC VIRUS. It’s a normal trap that can be searched by Trap Trick and also set with Lord on your field to use on the next turn. If you open Eradicator with Lord or with Welcome you can imediately use on the opponent’s turn. Call spells and destroy Runick. Call traps and destroy the mirror match. Insane value. Amazing card. But anyway. Play with the build you prefer. Just saying that you could improve.

Still yet to lose to lab on md or irl with drytron. Just played one yesterday at a regional.

If I were to build a control deck, this would be it. I like it better than the Eldlich deck, but control decks are generally not my thing. But since careful Labrynth and Runick decks are not top tier. Moved up to Max Dlv yesterday with Sword Soul. Labrynth and Runick didn't stand a chance against Sword Soul. I always won with sword soul . So think twice about it.

Never been happier play any deck and i play this with Full Force and Epidemic Eradicator viruses so it's double the fun

I love trap based control decks like Traptrix that aren't filled with floodgates, so I've been having a lot of fun with Labrynth. A personal tech choice of mine is running some Titanociders instead of 3 Torrential Tributes or other popular 3-of's. I do this to avoid destruction immune monsters, which came up enough times for me to be annoyed by it lol. It might not make their monster leave the field, but it does negate them to where you can *then* pop them, and it's still a good trap by itself. Most of the time you shouldn't have an issue with this though, as there's a lot of spins in the typical Labrynth-run traps as well. Again, just a personal choice.

I've been playing Unchained Labrynth. I like it. It adds a few more tricks to the unchained toolbox. But pure Labrynth is pretty awful. It's so fragile.

And people complained about Eldlich. Labrynths not only pops none stop and even from the hand but also recycles WAY too much. I mean you like to play on your opponents turns but when the opponent has no counter play and can't do anything on their turn it's just disgusting.
