We’ve been to Waikiki several times over the last 30 years. It’s always been my wish to stay at the Royal Hawaiian. We are finally going to stay there in March. Your video tours are so fun to watch. My brother and his family just stayed at the Moana Surfrider in September. They loved it.
Thank you for watching. I’ll be doing hotel tours comparing hotel rooms in the next couple months too! Royal Hawaiian hotel is gorgeous - definitely try Mai Tai bar if you haven’t already 🌺
I love just watching these types of videos when cleaning my home or study because it’s so calming and relaxing seeing what types of things to do or go to in Hawaii !! I am now subscribing to this channel!!🤗
Very informative video! Appreciate you providing a full tour of ocean font hotels, especially the pool areas. We are planning a trip to Waikiki in February. Your videos are super helpful with choosing a hotel.
We stayed at the Ilikai (condo time share) in 2023 & it was beautiful! It is right on the bus route which makes for convenient & an inexpensive way to get around the island. Check out the Atlantis submarine tour, in addition to Pearl Harbor, The Missouri Battleship, The Punch Bowl, The Army Museum,ETC.!!
Thanks for the time and effort you put into these videos. We are looking at the Prince Waikiki. Considering your knowledge of all the hotels in Waikiki would you recommend the Prince or something else? Thanks for your time
Finally going to one my bucket list places to go, Hawaii, my dream was to stay in the Hilton rainbow building but is not available, what other building would you suggest close to the beach .
I used to visit hawaii every year and always stayed at the Outrigger reef Waikiki resort on the beach! Always loved it. HOWEVER...the last time i went back about 6 years ago for my daughters wedding in this hotel, i was VERY dissatisfied that it was evident that they extended the restaurant further our towards the beach where you showed us that it was narrow. I feel like they ruined the whole feel of the hotel. Before, you were able to sit and watch the sunset too and sun bathe just in front - now thats no longer. Ill never go back to that hotel sadly. They also "updated" the lobby but its just too open and baron.
The restaurant wasn't extended - it's beach erosion. And if you were there during a King Tide, that can impact it too. Here's some more info on the Waikiki Beach erosion and the sand reclamation projects going on to help replenish the sand: www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2024/04/02/sand-replenishment-project-planned-waikiki-beaches-erosion-concerns-grow/
@@YestoHawaii Wow! Interesting - that totally makes sense now. Thank you so much for the information. Yes I remember walking thru that pass way - how they showed it in the past and also lounging in front of the hotel. I hope it goes well with the project! And BTW, your outfits are always so Amazing and you are so beautiful 😊
Just in case someone is not aware, The Hale Koa is only available to members of the military and their families, & certain DOD employees. It’s not open to the public.
Mahalo! I put that at the intro of that section at 01:09:13. The beachfront bar & restaurant within the Hale Koa are open to the public. There’s general public pricing and reduced military pricing.
I’ve been upgrading the website so it was shutdown for a couple days while I was moving posts over. Try now! If it doesn’t work, comment here and I can send it to you.
