Back in 2011 when I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Went to get surf lesson from that rental place there at Lagoon. Little did I know I was talking to Clyde Aikau who was going to be my lesson giver the next day. Unfortunately he was not there the next day. Pretty cool experience

Enjoy your walking videos as others do. As a local, I know there is "free" parking on the makai side of the lagoon, but you have to be pretty lucky to score a space.
