❤you did a good job love!! I love both shopping and making them, I find making them causes for the specific patterns that u want although I tend to just buy them and then once I’m feeling creative I may break them just to use specific beads and mix them up!!! I love waistebeads so much 😊😊😊😊

So i have a bunch of 5mm beads, would i still do the string 16x thick? Or should i do like 14x so they fit?

Hi, I'm a white woman and got gifted a beautiful string by a black woman (I didn't know her before that but we met and had a beautiful conversation about the waist beads she was selling), I haven't put it on yet because I want to be 100% sure it's okay for me to do that. So I guess what I'm asking is if it's okay for me to. And added to that I love making my own stuff so would it be okay for me to make them? Just for myself. They are so beautiful

Yes most definitely wear it because she gave it to you which means she wants you to wear it although it’s an African jewel you still able to wear it because it would show your appreciation for another culture thanks for asking btw some people just wear it without asking
