Dear Thomas, This is the first Letter I can remember writing. Obviously I don’t know if I’ve written any letters before the Maze. But even if it’s my first, it’s likely to be my last. I want you to know that I’m not afraid. About dying anyways, or forgetting. It’s losing myself to this virus, that’s what scares me. So every night, I’ve been saying their names out loud. Alby, Winston, Chuck.... And I just repeat it over and over again like a prayer. And it all comes flooding back. Just the little things, like when the sun used to hit the glade at that perfect moment, right before it’d slip between the walls. And I remember the taste of Frypans stew. I’d never thought I’d miss that stuff so much. And I remember you. I remember you first coming out of the box, just a scared little Greenie, who couldn’t even remember his own name. I just don’t want you to get hurt. But, from the moment you ran into the maze, I knew I’d follow you anywhere. And I have. We all have. If I could do it all over again, I would, and I wouldn’t change a thing. My hope for you, is when your looking back, years from now, is that you’ll say the same. The future is in your hands now Tommy, and I know you’ll find a way to do what’s right, you always have. Take care of everyone for me. And take care of your self, you deserve to be happy. Dear Newt, I was in the cinema when the last movie came out... When you died I was crying and one person asked me "are you okay? " and I was just crying, my parents asked me "what was the movie like?" I started crying again and again and they said " Is this because of that guy who looks like he's 10 years old? You were talking about him yesterday..." and I just said, "Newt would be forever in my heart." and after all these years you are in my heart like a best fictional character... Lots of love, your M!

The strongest friendship is when home no longer becomes a place you look for , but rather it becomes a person that you look to. They found a home in each other and that’s why their departure was so hard. This series helped me to appreciate the people I have around me because you never know how long you’ll have them. Thank you to James for writing this series and thank you to Thomas and Newt for teaching me what true friendship can look like.

2:22 The way it kept transitioning from the present, newt with black ooze running down his chin. And his eyes a black void. To his face with a small scratch on his cheek, and his eyes their natural brown (?) Color. Both scenes he was looking at Thomas, I believe. Before the virus stared taking over. And then it transitioned to Newt begging Thomas to kill him. It flashed all of their moments together, representing all the time they had together. Then back to the present once again, newt pulling away from Thomas to reveal a knife in his chest. Then eventually, it transitioned to the end of Newt's letter to Thomas. This entire piece is beautifully made, I can tell how much you put into making this. The transitions, timing of the scenes, and the lyrics, are phenomenal. Thank you so much for making this ❤
