The switch is likely the same as how auto-draw works on pods/disposables. There is a microphone sensor that deflects a diaphragm based on positive/negative pressure. Tapping your finger on the port likely causes positive pressure to activate the switch. Source: None, I'm just assuming without having taken this unit apart

Innovative locking feature and a 5ml capacity is impressive on a pod system for sure. I personally think it's really ugly and not much of a pod user but I'm still very impressed and think this will become very popular if the coil heads perform well.

Good Review, Jim They are using the Automatic draw switch for (un)locking the device... meaning.. you see a rubber ring around the USB C port.. there is also a tiny hole in the port..which i guess is connected to the Auto draw switch, so you are tapping 5x tiny air puffs back into the draw switch, whicht is a sign to lock or unlock the device. I bet if you blow 5 times on the USB it will lock or unlock it too. And yeah this is Innovative.

Hey Cor, i tried blowing in it does nothing. Also tapping it on fabric on other materials does not work. The locking feature only works when touching it with skin.

@@JimVv ok, so the ring around the USB-port is the + the case itself is the - which then makes the contact to the on-off switch. nice... try to disassemble gently - if you do.... after that... send it to me...😎

thanks jim, never heard about them, i like the capacity of the pod very ergonomic too, the sensor of the usb is a nice touch especially in Canada (child proof required) 🤙🫵
