I have a Zenoxy Zen Chi massage machine I won 25 years in a competition. It's value was $400+ back then. You should give it a go before you sell. Don't do any more than 10 mins to start with. Excellent for spine/back problems, lymphatic system, just about everything. You feel like an idiot at first haha.. but the total head to toes relaxation you feel when it stops is incredible. Can't describe, you have to experience. Mine still works great, made to last.
Well Chris you definitely made this video about me. Just two days ago I picked up one of those swing massagers on a job. I resell a lot of things but it never crossed my mind to try and sell it. I dropped it off at value village. I feel a bit stupid now but hopefully a lesson is learned. I'm genuinely puzzled though by who is buying 15 year old digital cameras...Do you these people not have cell phones? Anyway I am a vintage computer collector so I'm not much of one to talk.
Yes Dean, there are always people out there who are happy to try and fix something and don't value their time! Or just buy something for parts which I've done recently!
you should try the chi machine, its soooo relaxing and great for loosening up hip and lower back.... great after table tennis etc..........too valuable to sell....
It never ceases to amaze me what types of working electronics people throw away. I have a plastic tub full of old stuff we are saving for a garage sale. I would never think of trashing it, even though it been sitting down there for a couple years. I used to ebay sell stuff, and The hassle was worth it for a while. But I had a few fraud cases and the fees got out of hand so I stopped. Seeing your success brings me joy.
Interesting video. I've seen one of those massage machines somewhere. U 100% correct with selling before scrapping. You know if you can sell the parts error things like wash machines and TVs if you know the parts are working. Cheers Graham
Exactly mate! I've done really well selling boards from TVs with broken screens! Sometimes you can make more than what a working TV is worth! Thanks Graham 😊
Thanks Chris, Ebay is invaluable as a source of pricing information, it has a bit of a pull all of it's own so isn't always the cheapest, but people seem to accept that and like the convenience. I've only ever bought from eBay myself , but my brother is successful at selling on a regular basis, I will have to give it a go some time as I could certainly do with clearing the decks a bit ! As you said it is remarkable what some people will just throw away when a new model comes out ! I can't remember the figure off the top of my head but someone calculated what the result would be if every time Apple released a new device you bought an equivalent amount of their shares to the items value, the figure was huge and that was around ten years ago !
Thanks Andy. I did live off ebay for a while, back in the early 2000s. It certainly can be done but as a main income, there is a lot of pressure to keep finding suitable stock! It's perfectly suited to "clearing the decks"!
