Wait, FC25 Career Mode is Actually Different? 

It took a 4 years into a project for EA to have an actual great base for a game like College Football 25. This yearly release is really slowing down its progression despite how much money UT makes.

Im 100% sure it will be a buggy game from start to finish.

I’m so hype for the rush youth academy feature. I personally find the youth academy the most exciting part of career mode, finding gems, giving 17yo a debut in cup games, etc. Im hype to be able to play with them before I sign them to the first team

I just want walkout and starting lineups back in career. Feels like an actual game. When do you watch a game and they show highlights of a game that hasn’t even happened yet 😂

I'm so happy they are doing the live start points. This is one of the features we didn't really ask for but we all needed it. If they get rid of scripting and make ai transfers realistic, this could be the best ever game for career mode

Created players are STILL getting randomly deleted mid season in FC24. Has been a known issue for months and they still haven’t fixed it. I have zero hope for this.

The way it's worded it sounds like Career Mode will revolve around this Start Points rather than the usual way of playing CM.

I'm excited for Live Start Points. In Fifa 22 I did a career where I simmed with a portuguese side until christmas then took the Norwich job when they were bottom of the league, was a really good challenge.

Skipping FC25 this year, will just play FC24 with fifers realism mod when it’s released

They need to change the defending in the game how easy it is to walk past players and the goalie just standing still they don't give a fuck about 24 being ruined

Idea for ea to make career mode better without them working much: So they make an app like the web app that u connect with ur ea account and it lets u create a league, add teams and players for career mode, u could download the teams,players,... by files from the internet and upload them to the app, by this method u could have the teams from the Brazilian league or other not needing to have the license because its the cummunity that makes it and it doesn't come with the game itself so they wouldn't be sued and u could make more divisions to that country so that u can have the national league, the regional liga or others, it would let u add more competitions like a league cup to that specific country, copa america or even the club World Cup,the idea is to have mods in a way that console players could have, i think this the app could add more things but i can't think of anything

I’m actually looking forward to woman’s career mode. The clubs don’t have much history yet, so there should be a lot of interesting teams to pick from and wouldn’t be unrealistic to make a super team

Feel like these features should’ve already been in Fc24. They keep slowly adding things to these releases. A lot of the features you mentioned that I found interesting are probably going to be in fc26 or 27. EA make charge to much for these games to keep making slight changes every year. They need to stop yearly releases and just make one good game.

If the game becomes fully online then the game will be dead. Imagine you just want to chill on career mode and you’ve got to put up with lag, scripting, dda etc.

Ive never cared for fut or online modes, I only care about career and this just does not seem like enough for me to buy the game this year.

What I think would be cool if EA were to include - visual training sessions - Youth academy leagues like in real life so like un18s- u23 - PSR rules like in real life - voices to our manager There are a few other things I thought about but I’ve forgot haha hopefully they come to mind Oh yea that’s it, I think with the whole PSR I think if the game was to find out who’s in debt or whatever we should be given point deductions aswell

I’m very excited for the youth academy rush gamemode, I use the youth academy a lot in all of my careers. The live start points also seem also a very fun detail that they are adding to the game.

How does this make career mode different? It's gonna still be the same watered down crap we get each year now just with mid season starting points and women's football, No stadium builder, no sponsors, no indepth tactics, no request transfer funds, no depth to actually being the manager having to deal with your players so the moral system actually means something, no purpose being added so wages for a manager actually matter, come back to me when they actually change career mode

Live start point is basically start today in NBA 2K which I’ve been asking for years to come to fifa.. But i can see why it’s taken them so long to implement & I’m even shocked they are doing it because I’m just going to wait for winter sale & then use the new start today. It’s unbelievably good news for us. Not so much them but who cares after all these years we deserve something this this.

career mode is for players who don't like the online game so why make it online?

What we need is something that keeps the offline game and FUT separate, in terms of gameplay. How many times do you hear the gameplay is actually good and then after a few updates it’s “FUT ruined the game.” People like me do not want that FUT gameplay in CM, it’s horrible it’s not football.

I wouldn’t be surprised by an online career mode coming. EA’s most recent game, College Football 25, has an online Dynasty mode which is essentially the same as career mode. It’s probably coming in the future

You got me excited for a second. Idc about manager some of us only play player career and not manager. Considering the much better managerial games out there, player career mode is dying out and should be the focus.

I think in the career mode when we create a player we should be able to play from a little age lige 15 without a position so that we can take the control in the career mode.

Something I do want in career mode is different start dates, I don't want to start in current year, let me start in 2014 so I get to play with some retired icons, that would also make transfers and things more realistic as they could use real world ones.

I'm super hyped for women's career mode, I skipped FC 24 due to plenty of rumours saying it might happen in FC 25. I think Football Manager is supposed to get women's leagues too finally, so that's a definite buy as well for me.

Online career would be horrible. Please keep single player options offline.

I would like to be able to start the career a couple of months even years later, it could be easily simulated with the current system. I was playing the euro with Scotland the other day and we managed into the round of 8 so if I wanted to be hired by Celtic after the euro is not possible because we will have to go through the "European championship" all over again ruining the immersion

I’ve been tweeting the devs about an academy playable team for 1-2 yrs now and have been hoping they’d see it or even just think of it themselves lol super stoked for that and hopefully it expands in the future so that we can have a youth league and the UEFA Youth Cup in game. I’m also excited for the women’s career mode either way they add it, I just want to be able to play as United and build a solid team yr after yr. Hopefully they’ve (like in the men’s CM) have pretty much every leagues ‘FA Cup’ and ‘Super Cup’. This yr only 5 Leagues and the Champions League will work but hopefully next year they are able to bring in atleast 2-3 leagues until they have atleast 15ish

I hope the kicking technique will be better. I didn’t like FIFA 24 kick technique. I hope the kick technique will be kind of like FIFA 23.

Too be honest this doesn’t sound good to me, I would like a more in depth career mode, building improving stadiums, sponsors, youth academy, ai teams actually effecting your season, But the game is still running on frostbite, and eafc 24 felt so far away from simulating the game of football, that this is just going to be a complete mess as well, recently played fifa 06 on the ps2 recently and how is that game from 18 years ago is more fun to play?

EA has stated before that they had to few women's clubs to make a career mode. Unless they got new licenses I don't see why they didn't include a women's career mode in fc 24. I just hope it's not simply a toggle where you can sign women into men's clubs (although I wouldn't be against such a feature as I liked the mixed ultimate teams)

Good, because I've always found that players in the youth academy are useless until they get promoted to the first team

I think I found a good startegy to make FIFA fun again. See, back in 2019, instead of going directly to FIFA 20, I decided to stick with FIFA 19, witch I bought in day one. Only later I bought 20 and 21, when they were long dead. In 2021 however, I decided to buy FIFA from day one again, and later skipped 23 and 24. I think it is time to get a FUFA from day one once again, since if you skip a couple of games, all of the changes are more interesting, as it takes at least 3 years apart for a FIFA to truly look new

Wow being able to start from past dates is great but that has nothing to do with career mode itself, its a setting.

I was tired of buying the same game every single year just for one or two new features and receiving a game that is worse than the last one. The game comes out more and more broken, with less licenses and less interesting. I bought EA FC 24 cause I wanted to give it a shot, but this one I'm playing on the Game Pass only.

I gotta say when I play career mode near the end of the season (Like rn) it always sucks and feels boring having to start from the beginning when I already know which team won everything so I have to use mods most of the time to fix this issue. glad they are finally adding a feature to jump in real time and I wish they would update transfers too until they end of august or july to me at least it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do lol.
