I don’t even text when I’m in the passenger seat or the backseat. I turn my phone off and throw it in the backseat because I don’t want to accidentally ring and distract me. I turn the radio off and I turn the AC off and I put all the windows all the way up because I don’t want any noise to distract me. Not even the AC noise.

I can't text and drive I'm busy shifting gears. That's the reason I bought a car with a manual transmission

The best option is to use siri for your texting so you dont have to look down at your phone.

maybe don't put it in the back seat tho in case you do get into an accident and need to make an emergency call but can't move

The girl who said if you like someone you can't wait I mean yeah you can wait and then when you get to the place you need to be without looking at your phone you just tell them hey, I was driving or whatever but if they get mad about it it's not worth! even the other things, changing a song what ever, make a playlist before hand of songs YOU LIKE/radio station, before moving the car, it's in the driveway, get to the radio station or whatever then start driving and leave the device alone, throw it in the back seat, put it in the trunk, put it in your purse and then put your purse in the backseat, put it in the glove box, lock it, do what you need to to to not be distracted. Same with the gps screens in your car, set your destination if going somewhere new have the car parked in the driveway, set the destination then go, don't bother looking at the screen because the gps is going to tell you. and if you have music loud, turn it down because that can also distract you have it at an appropriate volume.
