I do not remember that game whatsoever, and I think I know why - it's not very good - which is funny because it has more color and better graphics than the original but it lacks the charm of the Atari game. I especially don't like the eyes on the trees in the background. It just makes the game too goofy, like it's happening in a McDonald's playland. Unless it's playing off of some technological advances, I think it must be hard to do a successful video game sequel. A bit like a movie, more of the same only harder doesn't cut it. You need to do something very different, like Donkey Kong Jr. compared to Donkey Kong, same general game play but a very different scenario.
A goofy game played in McDonald's land is a very apt description Jerry. This one wasn't very good, especially considering the large boots it had to fill.
