Waiting for a Bespoke FG42 | 4K 60fps | "Type E" | "SMG Type 1" 

Probably arrive by the end of the year or by the end of Q1 2023!

I did get the email yesterday, seems as though the batch that is coming up next is only for T-II/G rifles, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean we won't get them in Dec or Perhaps January. Regardless, I opted for the blued bolt, to match the rest of the finish on my rifle. I'll have to measure the bayonet when I get home, I have a spare if you need one. But as you know Rick is going to cut them down to the proper size for each rifle. I got the sling from At The Front, they offer both T-I & T-II length of slings, the T-I being 10in shorter!

@@Gunstorian I have a MAS bayonet, but mine is 17” OA. It just appeared in the video that your’s are longer. Thanks

@@Gunstorian I find that Rick’s emails can be confusing. Maybe he gives too much information? I think he should have at least mentioned the T-I rifles in the email. 🤓

*@Mister Grendel* The bayonets in the video are also 17", seems the standard. I wish there were more clear updates on the T-I as well, it's been quite the wait! But there is no understating how challenging it would be to build rifles like SMG does.

I’ve been wanting to get on the waiting list for years, how long from the initial deposit did it take to get to this stage?

Pretty sure I got the boxes and clips off eBay, the stripper clips are accurate reproductions made by Feldwebel Fritz Militaria.

@@MrWibeekeeper Wow! You sir are fortunate indeed, certainly something to be proud of they are truly modern works of WWII industrial art. I ordered the optic with my T-I/E along with a case deflector, I couldn't bring myself to mar the body of the receiver. Even if it would have made it look more authentic!

@@MrWibeekeeper Nor have I, but I've always been infatuated with the early FG42. I jumped at the opportunity when I first heard about it back in August 2020. I figured the SMG rifle is the next best thing. Can't wait to get it out on the range, I'll be sure to create plenty of videos on it.
