Aww this was a really sweet yet sad short drama ♥ All of them were great at acting, but I felt so bad for Siwan! I don't really like how they fast-forwarded time, the ending kinda killed the mood. Even though Dongjun is my ultimate bias in ZE:A, I think that Siwan is slowly becoming my second bias in ZE:A ♥
OMG, I am actually satisfy with the ending. I mean, she got herself someone devoted to her, but the relationship still ended, because she still wasnt satisfy. Thus 4 years pass, and she was still fated to meet her one true love. There is a saying " If you are destine to be together, fate will always find a way for you to be together.”
I don't like how they ended this drama :/ its a huge cliffhanger that should'nt have been there. I would've loved to see what happened to lim siwan's character after him and boa broke up a second time !
SPOILER AHEAD. So if you haven't watched the whole thing, please don't read. For all of you who complain about the ending, and "How could she break Siwan's heart again, after he kneeled in the rain for her?" How old are you, really? How many relationships have you seen in your life that last more than 4 years? (I'm not talking of conventional marriages where people stay together even if they don't like each other anymore, because of the kids). Relationships end for various reasons, small and big, or just because the two people find out they are incompatible after all. She obviously didn't love him, she was willing to make an effort because she was touched by her love, but it doesn't work that way. He was willing to bend his own character and tastes for her, but how long are you able to do that, and become someone you are not? When the first enthusiasm of love passes - as it will pass, eventually - the incompatibilities become more apparent and the relationship becomes suffocating. Maybe he decided to leave. Or maybe they both decided it. How can you be sure it was her who left him? Maybe he met some other girl, more compatible to him, with whom he didn't have to make an effort and fake. For that matter, after the umbrella scene, how are you sure she chose to follow the advice and get back together with the pathetic guy? You all assume she told him "OK, since you love me so sincerely, let's get back together". Maybe that is the case, but maybe not. Maybe she got down to talk to him and tell him "Please forget about me, I appreciate your effort and your feelings, but I cannot be with you because I'm not in love with you". And she was alone all the time after that. Then, tired to be alone, she decided to go on a blind date. Whatever may be the reason, the important thing is that the two main leads meet again completely unattached (obviously, you don't go on a blind date if you have someone in your life). The screenwriter wanted the two main leads to meet after the whole mess about other partners was cleared, when they were both free, so that there was no moral issue of cheating this time.
Thank you! Just because somebody loves you, or thinks they love you does not mean you are now responsible for their happiness or have to love them back. What's the point in being with a person when one of you doesn't feel the same? You just end up hurting the other person and it will fall apart eventually no matter what you do
Totally agree with you but I think it would be a perfect ending with the umbrella scene and leave the viewers' imagination run wild... Everyone can draw an ending picture of their own!
Well said. I honestly did not find Siwon's character charming. He was quite pushy and hysterical. As you said, that initial attraction passes, so Idk, I just felt that it wasn't going to last anyway.
This is for those who didnt get the ending. He went for blind-date and then crushed with Yeone. She was on a blind-date too with him but ,he was late so she was going to leave until they crushed. Which means they both were going to meet for the blind-date. Sorry for my english xD
thanks KBS for making a lot of good dramas :) I love this one.. Im Siwan Choi Daniel and Boa just had a perfect role and acting.. please let Boa have another role for acting.. who said he can't act because her popularity as a singer?? she's adorable :) I love the story.. I love all the casts personality ~~~

siwan is such a good actor! i really enjoyed watching this drama! so true to reality in some ways. worth watching (: kinda about blind love dating. boa is so pretty!

Ahhhhhhhhh!! Omg what happened to siwan. He's such a good actor. I cried so much at the scene when he got so angry at the shop TT____TT I wanna see him in dramas more. Hopegully he gets to be the lead next time cause he totally deserves it
I think some of you are missing the point here. This drama simply depicted how love can't be forced. Their love stories (Yeonae-Jinguk, Gidae-Saerom) didn't succeed because their views in love are different. Their way of giving-receiving love is too different and it makes them stand in a different wavelength of relationship. Just like how Jinguk forced himself to eat that blood sausage, nothing should be forced in relationship. And Yeonae did try to cut Gidae off from her when she asked to not text each other anymore, but her heart won't. And for Saerom, gosh that girl always gaslighted him into believing how she is always the one making efforts for the relationship but not him. Good thing Gidae spoke his heart out at the cafe. Another thing, I love how the climax of this story made everything became tangled and messy. It was well-written although it is just 2 episodes and I came here to rewatch it after years because I just need some good and short love story.
kbs.. pls continue to make more drama specials. im someone who rarely watches korean drama's cause its so predictable and melodramatic but waiting for love is so well scripted and interesting to watch. i love every bit of this show. Even the ending (How could you not be with Siwan Boa! He's perfect!). But i guess it just mirrors how a love that is forced is not love at all. Totally relatable. Very well done!
I really liked the scene in the rain --it would have made the entire story meaningful, and then -- the last scene ruined it all for me. Am I the only one? It feels as though the significance of the sacrifice is immediately undone. Still --- enjoyable watch. I'm only ten years late.
one of the best kbs stories. I like the two-episode format. It's not too short and not long, slow-paced. As a bonus, my crush made a cameo as maitre'd. this movie is about fate...you cannot avoid the one who has been destined for you :) and of course similarity in preferences, opinions and lifestyle play a big role in that. I shipped the dating guru from the beginning, he was more compatible with the SNS girl than the rich girl...perhaps they should just switch partners :P
No you're wrong, if she didn't get advice from him, she wouldn't even notice him, he knows all about her that's why you ship them, I really dislike the dude, he's a dog in his relationship so wtf gives him the right to give advice?
This short drama was a great one with all the mystery on who they were really talking to and in the end almost meeting each other. Even though I didn't like that part that much it got a little better when they met for a blind date. This drama is really great

for those who didnt understand: she gave siwan one last chance like gidae said sincere love can make it work. obviously it didnt ,boa and gidae were suppoused to met and be together but couldnt 'cause unfinished love issues but yrs after they finallymet for a marriage date suggesting they will end up together
Watched this mini series so many times throughout the years and still love it. Everyone keeps saying they feel sorry for jin kook but he was so annoying and obsessive. He said he didn’t know what type of person yeonae is and doesn’t know how to introduce her to his family but has no problem trying to sleep with her not knowing who she is 🙄When he shoved her out the back door that was disrespectful. Plus I think yeon ae’s friend was a little too nosy sticking her foot into her business so much and kept giving all these dumb ideas to jin kook at the same time that made him a little insecure too.
Halfway through the drama, I felt like, blergh. The thing is she feels like she's being forced because she's doing things that she doesn't like. And then she puts the blame on the guy? Really? I felt so bad for Jinguk. No doubt the bad the guy she was texting with is her destiny, but putting the blame because she doesn't know what she wants is truly unfair. He's doing everything he can, and he told her at the beginning of the drama how he doesn't know to date at all. Couldn't she gives him some slack? It is fortunate that Jinguk actually doesn't care about her issue at all. But the thing is all I can see is, she's taking Jinguk for granted. To me, she's worse than the guy's girlfriend.
I also feel ur sentiment...I felt sorry for jinguk...he did what he thinks the girl would want...she's taking him for granted..if it's on me..and I caught my bf txting while were a having a date...wish his fone luck...he might need to buy a new one......
I really really reeeeaaally hope that KBS can make a full drama or just make one more episode to explain what happened in those 4 years. Plus I want to see more of BoA, Siwan and Daniel ♥♥.
The ending was quite bad. I wish Yonae had the heart to break up with Siwan earlier. He was sweet but it was getting obsessive like her past self. Also, that girl Ji Won? Man, she was annoying and fake as heck! I disliked her from the beginning! If only Gidae could've broken up with her earlier!
Grace Osas seems like siwan was getting obsessive because he didn’t get enough attention from boa. It was his first love, so he didn’t know better that this girl was just not that into him. He might be thinking if he worked harder to please her, then things would change for better. But yea siwan’s char is getting more and more weird towards the end. He was funny at times tho! Cheers!

LOOOOL! :D At first, I thought that it ended with the rain scene and I was so pissed off, because of such an unsatisfying ending. And then I watched it again and actually saw the last scene :D YAY! Its actually great ending!!! :D
It was a great miniseries. I actually think it would've been better without that 4 years later epilogue. Ending with Daniel leaving BoA and Siwan's characters there was more poignant and meaningful I think. They didn't have to end up together, but it would've been a very realistic and interesting ending. Still, great story and great acting!
Actually no. She didn't really love this guy. She pitied him and thought that a man who loves her so much will be perfect for her, but it doesn't work that way in real life. You get dissatisfied. Plus, we don't know, in 4 years so many things can happen. People fall out of love, relationships become sour. Maybe they both found they weren't made for each other so they naturally broke up without being anyone's fault. This thing happens all the time.

So 4 years later, what happened to Jinguk and his pure and sincere love for the woman played by Boa? Poor guy!!! He was simply eliminated from the scene.
Not a bad special. I liked the way the lead pair were mirrored doing the same thing all the way through the story. The interaction between them through the medium of texting was very strong, in fact it was very well done. However, the secondary characters did deserve a little bit more in terms of their personalities. There is no right or wrong here, just the differences in how some people live their lives. 7/10

happiness and true love can only be found by holding the heart and soul of another whilst also giving your own to that person. the body is only a vessel to carry the spirit and the soul, if people cant look past the exterior they will never find true love, happiness, or peace of mind with themselves
