Thank you so much, @ptninny07, means a lot! I always select the music after the emotions I had out in the field. So nice to hear that you like it 😉🍺 Nice greetings, Christian

Thanks you very much Christian. I love your photos. And music is also very positive (I like this piano quiet mood music! - it's fantastic). About photo: Your composition is very equilibred and natural. Every is in the place. I would say: It's so harmonic to look at the "simple" image. It's simple but so plesant to look at it. About hiking: yes it's definitly better to hiking no alone. Your friend, wife etc. But I thinks it's make a small pressure when you want to take photography. (Why we neet to stay ever, I'have recuperate energy already.... may be we must hiking down, look at the clouds. It's can by rainy, or stromy soon). I'm pretty sure you have this type of pressure. How do you manage hiking with someone and concetrate to photography ? It can be an object of one of your video. I wish you a nice light!

Hi Marek, thank you so much for your kind words, my friend 😊 Interesting what you said about pressure. I guess, it might look I would have a lot of pressure getting the shot, and maybe there is indeed a bit of pressure in the game. But I have to say, I don't perceive that really as pressure, as the joy and anticipation predominants, I think. I will think about a video about landscape photography during a hike with friends. That can indeed be tough. But maybe an interesting video idea, we will see 😉 Nice greetings, Christian

Very good video. I thibk there is no wrong or right here. Problem with planning is that if weather does not work woth you then you're there for nothing. I'm more the wander type and I let the light lead my way. I always look at the light first and the search for a composition with it. Keep up the good work

Hi Guido, thank you for your thoughts, my friend! I think it depends on how detailed and accurate we plan. For me the plan B is even part of my planning, at least in most of the cases 😊 There are several approaches to get a strong photo and as you said, there is definitely no right or wrong. Have a nice Sunday, Christian

Beautiful adventure at Passo Giau and great pictures, always original compositions!👏👏 when I am in places like this I tend to take lots of photographs along the trail, but I have also planned a shot that I may have had in mind for a long time. Sometimes I have obtained the best photographs in this way, also because often one tends to imitate "famous" compositions of famous places. Better for me obviously, not for social networks 😅

Hi Stefano, that place is absolutely breathtaking and it offers a lot of possibilities. It's just not a good idea to cut a corner, as I did, which cost me an additional hour of hiking, just for having a look how it looks at the other side of that peak 😆 But I don't want to complain. It was a great adventure and I'm happy with the results 😊 Of course, sometimes plans don't work and that is just normal. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes we simply need also to be brought down to reality again 🙂 Enjoy your weekend, Christian

I rarely plan my photos ahead of time. The vast majority of my best images happen spontaneously. I find that if I plan a particular image it rarely works out . My philosophy is that if a shot is there when I'm there then great. If not, just move on and see what presents itself.

Hi Bill, so great to hear that you found a way how to enjoy landscape photography. It is quite interesting how many differnent ways there are to get a great photograph, isn't it? And the best thing of all is, that there is even no right or wrong. I personally like to alternate here a bit. Sometimes I plan extremely, sometimes I plan nothing at all, sometimes anything between. I love it 😊 Have a great weekend, Christian

I'm more likely to stop for every composition myself. Especially when walking with others who might not appreciate waiting around for an hour or more while I set up and wait for the moment! But when I go out for a dedicated phototrip then I can easily stay a long time on or near a single place to get that composition, or get that light, when I know my destination and know what the light might do.(Still doesn't mean I will get a good shot when I do... ;-) )

Hi Tim, I agree, I think the way you do it is a good idea and I also tend to do that. Especially when we get a composition with the fitting light served on a silver tablet we would be stupid if we wouldn't take it. It is just, for that particular place I visited in this video, I never reached my planned end goal before, because there were too many "distracting" compositions during the hike 😆 So, I think, it's not the worst idea to alternate a bit. And of course, hiking with non-photographers is also something different, but also enjoyable from time to time. Amazing, how many faces landscape photography has to offer, isn't it? Have a great weekend, Christian

@@christian.irmler It is indeed amazing how many faces the landscape shows when you look and pay attention! Just a small change of position can make a huge change in the view you get. Thank you and have a great weekend yourself as well!
