It though the line was "And we're spinning and then suddenly crack" And later instead of"That's a blinding yellow light" I heard "As we're running out of life"
ohhh having the inbetween portion makes this intro SO much better. The official upload did it so dirty!! The part they cut between "just a-waiting for the drop" and "sailing through space" is the BEST PART. I think this just became my favorite opening
tbh they might've done that to make people want to go and see it in person, which is still dirty, but it also still makes me wish i could've seen this in person,,, T^T

If I'm correct the intro on the album was made especially for the album There four intros Waiting for the drop Fall fair Tragic fact Uranium With The Uranium Suite being their attempt to combine them.
@@haileyartz3533 yeah, that's kinda what I meant with the multiple intro bit, I can be confusing at times Uranium was the first intro then reworked to Tragic fact from where the went to Waiting for the Drop than Fall fair and finally to The Uranium Suite Which was made during the cast recording With them trying to make it like the original but working parts of the other songs into it if I'm correct. That's what I got from their Commentary on the song
@@pdtrx4900 I think the order is out of order, actually! Maybe the writers were just saying the openings in a random order because it's actually: Uranium / Tragic Fact from the early Canadian and touring productions Then Fall Fair Suite from the 2015 Chicago production and the 2016 Off-Broadway production (2016 is the proshot cast) Then Waiting for the Drop (this opening!) from the 2018 Seattle production. Then for the 2019 Atlanta production, they brought back Uranium with some revisions and it's been in every production since, including the 2021 concept album.
