Dearest Father, I wait patiently for you to take the pain of alcoholism from my wife of 28 years and bring her back to me. Am I praying for satisfaction of the flesh and not in your will or is there more to it? I love her dearly and I want her back. You can do all things father. You made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, the leper clean and raised the dead. If you want to you can take this addiction from her, soften her heart and bring her back. Your will be done Father, in your time not mine. Its been months now and I wait. Help her father, help us. In Jesus name I pray, Amen🙌

Dear Pastor Stanley’s family it is the funniest thing. I never listen to him when he was alive, but since he passed away rest in peace, I cannot get enough of your father/husband/uncle/grandfather. I love this man’s teachings, and I love the way he explains the teachings of the Bible to me, I am absolutely hooked on these videos but like I said, I only just recently discovered them and asked for Ronald Martin in the comments I will pray for your wife. I hope that she is doing better and her challenge. Amen.

Wow... what a much needed word tonight! I was literally laying on my couch, thinking about a man I just broke up with and wishing things would have worked out when this message came on and reminded me that I should have never been with him in the first place. That I compromised on what I knew to be truth so I could have have instant gratification; instant belonging. I was such a fool. Thank God for his gentle reminders and his forgiveness.

Im just overwhelmed with sadness and stress now, that Pastor Stanley's teaching is the thing that is keeping me from giving up my life..I truly pray that I could get pass this trial without giving up..

I have been anxious too many times in my life, too many mistakes, too much thinking, I want it now! God showed me, by not waiting what the consequences are. I love this message; I love the calmness in his voice, the conviction he has without yelling at us. He is not just preaching to us but his life is a model for us.

I suffer from severe depression. Its hard to get out of bed every morning. I believe he (God) will deliver me someday. Sometimes I wish Jesus would come and get me. I need prayer. God is always good. He does good and he loves us. He is an awesome God.

Patiently awaiting on my God to return my husband home. Devil trying to destroy my family but I trust God 🥹😭🙏🏽

when we wait on God's timing: - he is going to express His goodness toward us. (lamentations 3:25-26) - he will answer our prayers. (psalm 40:1-3) - we will see the fulfillment of our faith. (isaiah 49:23) - he will enable us to win over the struggles of life. (psalm 37:9, 34/philippians 4:4-7) - he will give us peace.

Pastor Stanley, you have no idea how much your sermons have impacted my life. I have tried many things on my own, my way and my timing. Nothing, absolutely nothing worked until I decided to obey God and submit my life to him.

I thank God for the few men on Christian television who are actually true men of God and who preach the truth faithfully like Pastor Stanley. In the midst of all of the prosperity gospel preachers on Christian television, it's refreshing to see a man who actually knows the Lord, and preaches a real message that's relevant to our spiritual lives, instead of all of the ear tickling nonsense on TV that just tells people that God wants you to have a Mercedes, or a mansion, or whatever they are preaching.

Charles Stanley brought loving, clear, scriptural teaching. So many being led astray by false teaching. I am reaching out for prayer, I am a widow and my 3adult sons are estranged from one another, biting and devouring one another. Raised in church, their choices are horrific and heartbreaking. Their late father was verbally abusive alcoholic, he desired to live a Godly life but slowly fell into angry alcoholic that chipped away at all of our confidence. He became that man once diagnosed with ALS and faced imminent death. Damage to our family slowly revealed over time and I now am left with 3 angry men. His abuse was gradual, insidious , gaslighting us all. Please pray for restoration. My sons mean everything to me, grandaughters as well . I was an orphan, my family means everything to me. My oldest son is married to a physically abusive woman who became verbally abusive , clearly, it’s a mess, Lord. Please pray for us all, waiting for joy to come again, in the morning.

Oh what a timeless, priceless message. Thank you for putting out Dr. Stanley's videos...I share them with my non-believer friends...he doesn't rush, scream or screech loudly as many preachers do...but firmly and gently emphasises Biblical truths. God bless your ministry. I'm waiting on our God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to show me His will, His timing in two important matters. In particular it comforted me most when Dr.Stanley said "The sovereign God of this universe is your protector, and anyone who harms you has to deal with God. And God knows how to protect His children and He knows how to defend them whatever they are facing in life." "He acts on behalf of those who wait for Him." Amen.

Every time I see real men of God like him, Billy Graham and others pass it hurts me so deeply because they are the last of the Traditional Bible teachers and we need traditional Bible teachers now more than ever right now to teach the Foundational basic principles of the gospel in its simplist form; more than anytime in the world today. He lived a blessed admirable disciplined discipled life. I know he's in Father God's arms right now❤❤❤❤😢😢😢

I was shopping for shoes when I started listening to this message. Lol. They were actually in the check out cart. That was close! Praise God for this message. It pulled me back from the brink of spending money on shoes I don't really need right now. Just wait. Trust him to provide. Simple, but so true.

I thank God for Dr. Charles Stanley. I know that his sermons helped me begin my devout Christian walk. He always said messages out of love and at a lot of his prayers toward the end convicted me without condemning me. Dr. Stanley prayed constantly for sinners to make the wisest choice to make by serving Christ. He then mentioned the great benifits of security under God's direction. He said also if you don't trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior it's not gonna work for you. That subconsciously started to weigh on me. On this particular sermon I see the importance of God's timing and have a better understanding. Thank You Lord Jesus! Thank you Dr. Stanley for your continued devotion to Christ. You have greatly influenced me.

I purchased " A Handbook for Christian living" and I love it. I've learned so much from Pastor Charles Stanley. A true man of God. My husband was not one to sit and watch TV when i would watch church programs. Which I rarely do i usually go to my fellowship classes. There were many times where i could not go to church and i started watching Dr. Charles Stanley .When my husband came to sit down and watch Dr. Stanley with me I could not believe it! All I can say is Thank you, Pastor Stanley he really enjoys your teachings. You touched his heart in Jesus Christ name! Hopefully one day we could visit your place of worship.
