I was actually freaking out the entire time after the 5 minute call because my anxiety was like GO NOW YOU HAVE A SHOW TO PUT ON AND ARE GONNA BE LATE FOR ACT TWO and the fact that they did not care both very much impressed me and stressed me out haha
When you've done a show as many times as they did this one, the 5 minute call means nothing. You can hear the orchestra start and that's when you walk out of the dressing room and get to the stage. You're always prepared.
So, it's 2:30am, and as the video ended, I decided to peruse the comments. "Why am I watching Jeremy Jordan spit on camera at 2am?" I asked myself out loud, with a self-deprecating eye-roll. To say it was a whole second before I read your comment would be generous, and just like that, I don't feel so alone in the world. Thanks! LMAO

I'm not positive your comment was made for my benefit, and although I appreciate your input if it was, I don't think anyone was seeking the answer to the question. If I'm incorrect about that, I misunderstood. I shared the experience of it to say thank you to the person who commented with what I believe to be their own internal, rhetorical question that allowed me to relate for a second during this time of isolation. (But I guess if boredom is the issue, we both found a fix, eh?) Stay safe! All the best.
