*YOOOOO I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING:* *-* When the switch first happens, it's pretty obvious who is who. Cesar's song 0:13 has a sad, desperate undertone to it, as if he's searching for help, whereas "CESAR"'s song 0:36 is much more aggressive, on the attack, crackling laughter in mockery. *-* But as the song continues, "CESAR"' 1:16 starts copying Cesar's crying song from 0:13, but slips up and reverts back to its own song at 1:24 *-* "CESAR" tries again at 2:00, and doesn't mess up this time. *-* Then at 2:24 "CESAR" copies the song again with only the extra aggression static cueing you in that it's an alternate. And the goes onto do it's own version 2:40 of the opening of Cesar's song (0:01). *-* At 2:48 is that last time we hear from Cesar... NOT. The name typography did NOT change with the switch, meaning that this is _still_ "CESAR", and the kicker is that its song is _clear_ . *_Fucking, CLEAR_* (seriously, compare 0:26 to 2:50). No aggressive bg static track. The alternate has now learned how to *_almost_* perfectly copy Cesar and his calls for help, with only the very slight muffling as your only cue that it's not the real guy anymore. It only reveals this at 3:00 All of this is reflected in the subtitles and name changes too. The real Cesar's name gets censored over, and the Alternates becomes more and more Bold + Capitalized as the song goes on, until the end where it's all in bold caps. Tl:Dr As the song progresses, "CESAR" gets better and better at copying the actual Cesar until it practically becomes him, like the filthy alternate it is. Dunno if that was intentional, but I think that's so damn fitting.

I honestly feel kinda bad for Cesar. Imagine he’s still alive somewhere and finds out he was used to kill his best friend.

I kinda love the idea that cesar is trying to fight back the alternates' control of him, like somehow if you can push through hard enough you can defeat the alternates, oh well. good cover lmao

This just made me wonder. What if alternates aren’t demons commanded by Satan, but the actual souls of those who the alternates replace. It’s like Satan completely deny the host’s will, and makes the body it’s purpose to force their loved ones to kill themselves, while the original soul hopelessly watches.

I like to imagine this takes place in Cesar's room, with a noose and a stool in the middle of it. Cesar has his eyes shut tight with his hands covering his ears, while the alternate is behind him, holding his shoulders, and trying to tell him things that will infect him with MAD. Cesar isn't being possessed but rather, being told things that he doesn't want to hear. That's what I believe this battle is all about.

I feel like there is some lore(Lore not canon); Mark and Cesar tried to fight back in the Song "Zanta" but most likely failed. In "YMTC" Cesar was converted to an alternate and Mark hid in either his or a random room .In "Phantasm" Cesar is fighting back. Can't wait for THINK but markiplier and cesarfever sings it lol

Theory: What if the alternates of the original ones, were the original ones, but in a different universe? the angel "gabriel" must've took advantage and controlled their minds, changing their identity, making them either type 1,2,3. Which makes me think "gabriel" is controlling the alternates, which are from another universe.

The choice of dialogue as well as the subtitles here is great, it really makes the song feel a lot more lively instead of just having the vocals be replaced the Cesar alternate also sounds a LOT more aggressive, that's something I really like

Cesar sounds genuinely desperate, begging for help and looking for a way out "CesAr" sounds like it's laughing, aggressive and the one chasing him. The static also amps up a lot too when it copies cesar's sad "crying out" notes. Edit: Nice minor sprite change between 0:01 and 1:37 on his face. Poor guy is struggling, only to die :(

Really love how you used the whispers from the original Mandela Catalogue for switches between the alternate and Cesar. Btw at the end I think he followed Gabriel and became an alternate lol

This cover is a perfect example of cesar's struggle with being an alternate and being forced to trick and then Sub-sequentially kill his best friend. One thing, is I noticed you used some of the intruder's voice lines for Gabriel, despite them being enemies, and not the same person, like ` ` Follow my voice instead... ` ` is a reference to the fact that the intruder doesn't want people to follow Gabriel, due to him being the Devil. But all bad things aside, I love the attention to detail, the editing, the art, just... Keep it up!
