Even as someone who doesn't believe in God I love watching Maya and hearing how she does things. She motivates me so much and it feels like a such a judgment free and calming environment. Truly such a great space and I'm so glad I found her last year. She helped me create a routine and get into waking up early and eating healthier. If God exists then I'm glad he lead me to her 🥰❤

Thank you so much for sharing some of the emotional turmoil you had with us. As a child of immigrants myself I also had to do everything on my own to get to where I am. Currently in medical school and I had taken a gap year before med school and now contemplating taking another gap year to build my resume for the specialty i want. I look at my peers whose parents are physicians or highly educated, well connected and have been guiding them through this process. it makes me feel like I’m wasting time as well. I found myself wondering what it would be if my parents were able to connect me with mentors in the field. My life would have been easier. But something that kept me going is the fact I would be the first doctor in my family. it may take me longer to get to where I want and achieve my goals but I take pride in knowing i am strong and resilient enough to not give up. I also found that mentoring others gave me a sense of satisfaction as well because I want people to not make the same mistakes that I did. ❤ Your video is always a pleasure to watch

Hey, I know that I am no where to say anything about your life but as a fellow believer, I want to remind you that a lot of the problems and issues that we can’t overcome are normal and inevitable. We know that God is always there with us, but it’s hard to see this all the time amidst all of the uncertainty, worries, and fears of this world. This is our weakness but in Him we find comfort and peace above all. God can suffice our endless searching. Sometimes the solution isn’t about us, but about Him. Take care. Stay strong in faith sister. And I’m also a college student unsure about my career path. I’m in my second year pursuing my education degree to become a teacher, and tbh I really don’t know what God wants me to do. Teaching is hard rn and all of the YT videos from you and other teachers explaining why they chose to quit gave every reason not to go down the same path. I’m lost tbh, but this is a call to seek God. “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Why don't you know more about our God especially His providences in your reality. How He works in your life deeply that you may experience more of His glory and saving grace in the life today. Thank you for being open about working too hard! I struggle with this too! I didn't grow up in an immigrant family, but grew up living in a low-income family in the poverty line so I have a constant fear and edge that I won't have enough and don't deserve to rest as well. Thank you for putting language to this! :)

I’ve considered looking into therapy, and hearing you talk about your experience has made it sound really appealing! I know you mentioned in the past that you had a Christian counselor, did you just look up Christian counselors in your area or is there a website you used that matched you up with one?

This resonated with me, this week I decided to study money in the bible. My security and hope in it was misplaced because I fear financial hardship due to my past. Praying and being mindful I can't love 2 masters is something I can carry with me and that I shouldn't worry about anything. I should work but ultimately he supplies all my needs
