I don't have a favorite one, but I was shocked that I pretty much already do all of these things. I have a morning routine, I don't look at my phone in our room, I always have a plan for the day, I practice prayer & meditation each day and I exercise. My morning routine NEVER consists of hitting the snooze. I always get right up (usually around 6:00 a.m. - 6:15 a.m.) and begin my meditation & prayer, then I get dressed in my workout clothes and exercise, either at home or the gym (which is closeby) then I shower & have breakfast and go to work, either in the office or at home. This routine has been HARD to adopt, especially the 15 minute prayer/meditation each day but it's been about 8 months now and I absolutely love it. GREAT VIDEO! Thanks so much for posting this!

What time you you go to bed? How do you go about planning your day? Do you just make a simple check list?

Seth F - I go to bed around 9- 9:30 p.m. and wake up time depends on what the day holds, sometimes around 5 a.m., sometimes around 6 a.m. I'm one of those that needs at least 8 - 9 hours sleep each night so I go to bed early to allow for enough sleep. And yes, I usually go over a mental checklist (but have recently purchased a planner) each night before bed to plan my morning/day around my work schedule. It keeps me consistent and focused. I have spent most of my adult life trying to drag people along with me to be successful together. I love your videos and I have made the biggest change, just focus on me! I'm getting up before everyone else, setting the coffee-maker the night before and setting my work schedule instead of being all spazzed out without any focus. Thanks again!

This wasn't on this list but was one thing that really helped me: just go to bed one hour earlier. I feel much more refreshed and often times wake up before my alarm. Might not work for everyone, but you have trouble sleeping, give it a try!

I’ve had a morning routine for about 2 years now & that has been life changing. However, this routine needed revamped. Removing the phone from the bedroom is my newest addition 😃 thanks for the motivation

Great video. I love it all. I'm on day 379 of the Miracle Morning developed by Hal Elrod. Though, I could do what Eric Thomas and look at my To Do list first thing in the morning. I would like to do that every morning. I also like what Mel Robins says about cell phone in my bedroom. I take that one step further and I don't allow any electronic devices in my bedroom (i.e. no phone at all, no TV, no computer).

I find that come pretty automatically though, you're tired, your mind feels wrought up, equals just get your sleep. You wake up, get up, follow your routine, and what seemed to bother you last evening, will get accomplished. It feels basically like your brain is going through a combination of processing, and resetting - when you do have a proper sleep quality that is, hence alway say no to drugs, alcohol, avoid coffein as much as possible, never expose yourself to input overload from TV or any binge watching.

As a first time viewer of Evan Carmichael, I'm very impressed with the value of this message. The step that spoke to me most is step 4, schedule everything. I have a morning routine. It starts early about 3-4am with #inspiring and #motivational videos like this so that I can set the stage for my day with a positive thinking mode and attitude so that I can continue to grow and learn to become a better person. During the hour and 1/2 between when I get up and when I need to leave for work I have a quiet alarm set to go off every 15 minutes. This is so that I am constantly aware of what time it is. After watching this video, I'm going to take it a step further and come up with a plan for what I should have done or mostly done by the end of each 15 minute sequence. I believe this will help since I get off track so easily. Since my morning routine doesn't change on workdays, I believe I can do this! Thanks for a great video!

My favorite clip was with Eric Thomas when he spoke on creating a schedule the day before. I also like the analogy he did with the Terminator and Jason Bourne.

I'm a runner. And I really like the idea of stopping and taking a photo of a beautiful view. To really be thankful for the moment and appreciating it was my body that got me to that view. Not a car.

Sleeping 8 hours a day is a luxury for most people not to say impossible as life moves very fast these days and sticking to one routine every morning can be sometimes impossible, except if you live alone and nobody depends on you. Every day is unpredictable and yes I believe that you must start your day with Must-to-do things and always start from the difficult ones and move on to the easier ones. For me one rule that I have every morning I wake up is to make up my bed [no please do not laugh I got this syndrome from the army] and even if I have a bad day i come home and find a bed that was made [i remember this from a video i have seen before]. As they say greatness comes from starting up with the simple tasks and move up to the more difficult ones.

Costas Eleftheriades true. People think like machines nowadays, unfortunately many things in life are unpredictable and can mess up how you want your mornings to be ! Even drinking a cup of coffee can be impossible most of the time, unless if swallowed in the car.

#BTA131 It's always good to watch these clips again as a reminder of areas u need to tweak. I have explored and incorporated a couple of good habits this year, but I need my routines to be more focused. So, the first rule and the one on gratitude I'm going to try. I usually do gratitude at night, but I'll switch it to the morning see if it boosts my day/performance.

Since I’m a mom I value my hours of sleep, I know it’s very important and makes a huge difference in my day, also gratitude is something I’ve been doing for a month and it’s amazing how you can create a beautiful day when you are grateful

I like what Mel Robbins stated regarding mobile phones. I tend to read emails at 2am - bad! This contributes to my 9a tiredness and the need for more coffee. Having a consistent routine is key. Time for a change! Thank you for sharing!

for me, this has made me realise that it's lack of quality sleep that is negatively impacting on having a productive day. I'm going to sleep, so that I can wake up with vitality, not this lethargy that's preventing creating a schedule. Thank you for this insight!

That happens all the time. That algorithm predicting what we might like to see next at any given time isn't quite evil enough to censor the stuff that might help us unhook and reclaim our Agenda, (starting at a bit more sleep and an emancipated morning routine).
