That's Biko the Bear, one of the original mascots of Great Wolf Lodge, along with Wiley. Remember, originally Great Wolf was two different names in their original locations in Great Bear Lodge and Black Wolf Lodge--they eventually merged into Great Wolf Lodge--hence why their original mascots were Wiley the Wolf and Biko the Bear. Biko was dropped in 2010 when Wiley was redesigned to look more friendly for the young guests, changing him into a park ranger look, which was replaced in 2013 with him in a red t-shirt and khaki shorts, and hiking boots (but a similar costume design)-a design that lasted until 2019, when the Great Wolf Kids were redesigned again to the current versions (and inferior, BTW, especially if you're one who has to wear the costumes) After 2010, we saw the debut of the Great Wolf Kids--of which Wiley is one of them, along with his friends Violet the Wolf, Oliver Raccoon, Rachel Raccoon, Brinley Bear, Sammy Squirrel--though it took until 2013 before all of the characters became costumed characters.
Correction--2010 until Violet was introduced. And BTW--credit Sally Corporation for making that incredible show there. You won't find animatronics like this in the 11 other Great Wolf Lodges (no idea on New England yet).
The animatronics as of 2023 are still there to this day - though the seat under the talking tree has been blocked off by a framed "book" since the mid-2010s (which now will have to be replaced with the Great Wolf Kids being replaced with the Great Wolf Pack, as the character art is now outdated.)
