This is just headcanon until proven otherwise, but what if the Beasts are working together to get their "stolen" soul jams back? They could be attacking the kingdoms at either the same time or one right after another, leaving no time for the Ancients to rest. While Vanilla and Lily are busy with Shadow, Mystic is spreading the white plague through the Dark Cacao kingdom, Golden Cheese is currently dealing with Spice, and details regarding Hollyberry/Sugar are unknown.
In Wind Archer’s story it does seem like the beasts are going out one by one. GC’s comment about not hearing back from the ancients is interesting tho and perhaps the beasts are acting faster than we think. Mystic Flour told Cacao that the Ancients stand no chance against the Beasts so maybe after failing to retrieve their soul jams individually, the Beasts will work together in the final battle
