The french anime series Wakfu is an amazing show with tons of amazing creatures and mind teasing storylines. however, for me personally, the best aspect of this series is the boufbowl sport. it has a similarity to foolball and basketball but is more lethal and more awesome. This clip is taken from season 2, episode 12. enjoy!!!

For the not french peoples who view this part and don't understand why he si called "Meuporg", it's a joke on a French journalist who mispronounced and called MMORPG. I start from 0:29 (don't worry, the timestamps is already on the link) Younger journalist : Young people who spend their days behind a screen gorging on "Meuporg" explains the newspaper. The "Meuporg" being the barbar name which designates the online role-playing games in which one takes part with other virtual companions. Older journalist : "meuporg"... Younger journalist : It's called that, I'm sorry Older journalist : And how is it written? Younger journalist : It's written "MMMPORPG" Older journalist : Oh yes? Younger journalist : Here. Older journalist : Well, well, it's better to see it written... Younger journalist : Exactly! Older journalist : Than to pronounce it. Younger journalist : It's hard to say.

You know that this show was made by french people right ? So the English speaker are the one who can’t understand some jokes, though maybe the translators added unique jokes but I didn’t watch the show in language other than french so I don’t know

@@electromastermw9498 Heh, désolé si j'ai pas était extrêmement clair dans mon message. Même en me relisant c'est un peu brouillon. Mais je le pensais dans le sens où tu l'a dis en effet. Certaines blagues intraduisibles ont du passer a la trappe dans la trad anglaise. Mais c'est déjà extrêmement cool que Wakfu puisse être connu a l'international. Même si c'est un peu idiot, Ankama participe dans un certain sens a la fierté que j'ai d'être français, au même titre que Fortiche.

@@murmur7860 I'd agree with this but in the third season it is confirmed by Oropo that while Yugo is not a dragon, he does have dragon *blood* , so OPs point still applies.

Bet none of the english community understood the whole joke about the "meuporg", his name, description, spelling... Just to clarify, it was during some tv news (french obviously) where they were talking about online games, a guy fucked up a little bit and it led to this.

Bon, après, niveau des webtoons, TODAG et le numéro 1 mondial, donc je suppose que pour les amateurs du milieu c'est pas la même.

I don't know, Sacriers have pale eyes and lack a nose, while Mmmporg has the markings on his skin similar, I think he's an undisclosed race due to the horns.

Watched wakfu and instantly thought that Meuporg has something behing him... Now i know about french news failure, but damn... I thought that i will understand why he moves with lightning speed, and there's no information about that (or it is in French which i don't understand) Seems like Meuporg just breaking the rules of universe xD
