Welcome back to our channel!
Took a few months off as we welcomed our new addition, a tiny Timber! More on that soon but here's a video from earlier this summer. Caitlin is 7.5 months pregnant in this video but that didn't stop her from getting out in the backcountry! This is a two night work trip, so there are early call times to get the most beautiful light.. and man was it beautiful!! We also had some fun playing around and practicing paddling in moving water, had some beautiful campfires and explored a secret lake. Hope you enjoy! xo

Beautiful area. Your kid is going to have so many cool adventures. My parents were taking me out camping pretty much my entire life and even though some of them I was too young to remember, I think it built up my love for the outdoors.

Kudos to Caitlin canoeing and white water in her 'condition' . You have the right idea on how to purchase a home property. Especially a cottage type lot. It must feel right . You should like the lake . For a couple like yourselves so connected to the wilderness it's a must .Do not worry that others may not understand your thinking .

Watching a video of your gentle memories of several months ago brought to mind my own memories of years gone past, and the combination of your expectant pregnancy seen from a place of fulfilment linked with that of similar experiences, brought tears of joy tinged with sadness at their passing to my eyes. Guy's paradise is an understatement 🙄 that video was truly thrilling👌 Such beauty, tranquility, mindfulness and relaxing. The drone footage enhanced the viewing but could not replace actually being there with sights, sounds and smells. Really nice adventure and beautiful views. The nature looks like it does here where I live (Sweden). Wife and I enjoy your videos. We backpacked and camped during the younger days. Our areas were the AT in Ga.,Va., and MD, then out to New Mexico and a few wilderness areas there. I was in US Air Force and raised our boys camping and in the outdoors. Your videos bring back memories. I was wondering if you're familiar with Tom Thomson, a Canadian Artist that painted the north country. If not, you can find his paintings and biography on RU-vid. I paint and am copying two of his paintings, one closely and the other I'm taking some artistic license. I think you two (3) would like his work, also. Keep the videos coming; they are enjoyed.

Hey guys! Is it a secret what you guys use for cameras? I'm curious if you use a drone for most stuff. What make/model of drone? Also curious about how you keep batteries charged through the whole trip. You do a nice job for sure!

Thank you! No secret! We have the DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone. Our cameras are Cannon 1DX Mark 2 and 5D MK 4 and a lot is shot on our iphones too. We bring about 7-8 batteries and just try to conserve them and for our phones, we bring a couple boosters to charge at night.

There’s some goodness in your videos. Nice scenery and good camera work. But the emphasis on the mechanics of filming (like how to film oatmeal) really takes away from the sense of adventure and wonder. I get the sense it’s more about getting likes and subscriptions than sharing genuine experiences.

This was a work trip. Our focus the whole time was to deliver what was agreed on for our client so not including that would be completely fake and not the experience of this trip. Showing us working isn’t very exciting and I think gets us actually less likes and views, but I pride myself in documenting our authentic experience and not leaving anything out. This wasn’t a peaceful relaxing trip, Trustin put me to work lol.
