This is because the old people use this upbeat music to start their day working. they're listening to this while cleaning, cooking etc. it's like workout music. They wake up early and sleep early because if you start late the sun will fry you to a crisp. just use that free music to do zumba.
Not just old people. This applies to everyone. I'm middle aged and I crank up the music when I wash my car and my nephew and nieces turn it up when they're cleaning their rooms or taking a shower. 😅
Yes, they are noisy even abroad, insensitive and inconsiderate to other people who are still resting. Iba na panahon ngayun, madami na naka shifting schedule. Nurses, calll centers, flight attendanats and even. drivers. Kailangan pang ipagbawal ng barangay.
@@panigtab I would just call it cultural differences. Turns out the Filipino culture is louder than most wertern. Inconsiderate sounds a bit more insulting than louder culture. Don't get me wrong, I find some things from other cultures to be annoying to me, but other things may just be inconvenient
@@hangarud @bola5671 Regardless of culture, most societies have some norms regarding noise levels, particularly at night, to respect others' need for sleep and peace. Playing loud music late at night, especially in residential areas, is often seen as inconsiderate because it disrupts others’ rest.
@@hangarud if the behavior disregards the peace and comfort of others, it is often viewed as disrespectful and inconsiderate. The key difference lies in intent-whether the noise makers are aware of the disturbance they cause.
Live next to a public elementary school too. Wake up with a national anthem song. Then you will know it's about lunch time when you hear the song "Pack your things for home we go. Goodbye Ma'am goodbye to you...." hahahaha
I live next to a high school in the Philippines I went there too so at times when I hear the anthem and I'm still in bed I would always say I'm f**Ked 😂
totally agree (Singapore btw) if u know Pinoy moving in next door u know for sure youre screwed (nonstop noise) a call to the police one lovely weekend during shut-down and that was the last time we hear anything. Culture is culture, sure but cities trump. Is criminal ..in heavily populated places.
@@arfarmricev5822Same here...I hate loud music...I will call the electric company to have at least an hour of blackout to keep it peaceful for once!!!
Back in my mid-20's, i used to play Connie Francis music at 6 in the morning for vocal exercises. Then more karaoke singing in the afternoon before i got ready to go to work as a singer at night. I never experienced any complaints from neighbours. Although sometimes we got a knocked at our gate, and it was the retired old man making a request if i could sing 'Matud nila'😄❤, sweet old man.
I hate videoke.
Basta nakaka agrabyado, pwede kayo mag reklamo.
I remember in 90's era, in the province, we used to listen to a radio drama, everyone was listening into one drama in 1 radio of our neighbourhood, it's literally very loud so everyone can here the drama from their house without going out 😅
When I woke up in my aunt's house when we were on vacation in the Philippines I always shower first in the morning but when I,m done they are always eating some snacks before I was done showering and then we all will eat breakfast and then we were going to the mall with all my aunts uncles cousins and nieces i always like it when I,m there in the Philippines I,m always happy there cause I,m always with my family😊❤
That's what I miss about the Philippines. Here in US I only know my neighbors left and on my right, but that's about it. But in philippines I know people and they know me from the other street's.
Usually they wake up early in the province.Whenever I'm on vacation with my grandma her day starts at 4 or 5am while I wake up @6am then have our breakfast @ 7am lunch @12 noon the siesta or naptime @1pm❤❤❤
So true! I remember this growing up and noticed it visiting our hometown again in December. People are up and running at like 5 am to get pandesal and meat at the market and then 6 am we eating 😂
Or any one or a combination of the following: 1. Crashing waves, on rocks or shore 2. Motorcycle running or speeding 3. Birds chirping, usually kingfisher or migratory birds 4. Rooster cock a doodling (forgot what it's called) 5. Water falls or rushing water on stream 6. Of course, karaoke singing, in tune & out 7. Rain water falling on tree leaves, nipa fronds, or metal roof 8. Drums or traditional string instruments... But hey, these are island charms! Love you all...
Growing up in the Philippines, there's always a song associated to certain memories or events in life because there's always music playing un the background.😅
There are times when it's like a real life Disney princess movie opening scene. Try humming in a classroom when ur told to write down whats on the board and everyone will be whisper-singing the song.
thats the filipino culture they love listening in music its the way of life in the philippines, the filipino who dont like loud music they must be lived in wilder mountains there must very quiet and they have peaceful minds
Our neighbors would even open their radio at 5am at times and you'll know it's that time in the morning because the sound is around your head. it's a normal thing. HAHAHHAHA it actually put us in a good mood, upbeat and energy coming in early in the morning.
I hate waking up to loud music as I grew up in the iconic township of Johannesburg called Soweto... It is now a common thing in these overcrowded places that are strewn across cities. I moved to a quite and peaceful area where neighbours respect neighbours and I'm happy that I did❤❤❤... Love from South Africa.
It's normal and I usually turn on my speaker to listen to recent news.. And then after my work, i have time to have my breakfast and scroll my cellphone like i did now😊
I miss those times in the Philippines, everyone woke up early and play music while diing household chores, family members sweeping outside, and after that drink coffee. I loved loud music for relaxation and also while doing something in the house,it gives me energy..But where I am now,we cannot do that ,loud music early in the morning, gonna report us 🤣
These people will continue even if you end up sick and needed rest and will force you to be the one who adjusts and make your house soundproof. Its part of the culture which can be toxic if done without care towards their neighbors. Its just fortunate that you are not affected negatively about it but even most locals dont perceive it positively nowadays and it can cause stress and can affect people who work from home.
This is something I'm not used to morning should be calm and relax but recent yesrs is different nowadyas first thing in the morning is like this also warly morning and you hear tiktok mashup or loud upbeat music even in weekdays
i live in the city, what wakes me up usually are the neighbors gossiping with each other early in the morning:D But when I was younger, my parents shipped me and my siblings off to my grandparents house in the province..and during the fiesta month.. like everyday there was a fiesta somewhere in the island for a whole month... The first night, i couldnt sleep because there was a "discoral"... the next night same music...same sequence but at a different place but because it was the only noise, i could hear it loud and clear...hahahhaha... then the next night same thing happened... and because i was curious why the same music was playing every night, i asked my grandma's farm helper and i found out that in that area there was only one person who supplies the sound system and he has recorded the songs for his disco and he just plays it over and over again...hahahaha
I know this is very common and usually in the province people are already awake as early as 5am and you can hear them blasting music already when the sun is just rising. Sometimes its good but a lot of times is more of a nuisance especially those who just wanna have good rest
In our area in the province, it will be my fathers mini very old jollibee am/fm radio. You'll be woken up by the loud sound of the Am news anchor saying gising gising gising and a loud bang of the drums! or some weird commercials in the provincial AM station.
We do start our day early. You can hear people bustling around as early as 6 AM. However, too much noise is different. I do complain to our local municipality if our neighbors tend to stay up late karaoke-ing (11 PM!!!). The worst I think was 3 AM. 😅
The reason why? Because it brings a good vibes by starting your day with a catchy music My mother used to do that She will play some music while doing her and our chores
When I was still living at my home town in the province my neighbor.. which is an Uncle of mine... Plays loud music starting around 8 am.. though now he doesn't play any more music cause he passed away...
Thank you for being understatndin gliving here in the Philippines girl. Just bear with them as it is very normal just to start the day with a good vibe and to have a good luck for the day.
We wake up at 5am in the province 7am is for lazy people and it's already late. 5 to 7 we already finished cleaning the house and backyard, breakfast then we go to a river to wash our laundry then 10 am back home cook for lunch then take a nap 3 pm back to work until 5pm.
Remember, you are the foreigner and should not complain. This is not your country anymore. This is the Philippines with its culture and ways of life. Adapt is the key.
