I thought all European English mom's are similar to like this, I heat with this wrapping attitudes I think it is not good helth for babies mentality at the whole night there in a lonely without any support even without there own hands support, think about that moms if baby got any uncomfortable situation like simple itchy condition so how he or she naturally reaction to that, that's so terrible. So please if you want wrapped them even realise there hands free with long sleeve shirts, other thing please don't let them to sleep a lonely, until they become crawl age, are you thinking they don't need mother's love at the night time? I know why European doing like this, they are try to acclimation grow up them individually from even little age. That's why your society day by day going on spoil, so sad.

I wouldn't wrap baby's arms inside that sleep bag, it is not comfortable at all, imagine we grow-ups sleep inside something like that whole night. Maybe there is a reason, not sure.

@@seanleith5312 Yes, there is a reason. A lot of babies find this comfortable as it reminds them of the womb. Some babies sleep comfortably only if you wrap them like this. Children are not all the same and what you find uncomfortable as an adult does not always apply to them.

@@aamnahere6250 You seem to be so certain about what you said. Lets assume you are an expert in this field. Even for an expert, how would you know that they are pleased that their armed bundled up. When my child was little, there were multiple things that the doctor instruct us to do were wrong. Here I just give you one example. When my child was in reschool, it was detected that she was far-sighted. I consulted 4 doctors(optometrists) , they all suggested she should wear glasses for life. I researched, found very little information, but pointing to right direction: It turns out, child of that age, far sighted is normal (I won't go into details). I didn't let her wear eye-glasses, now she is in high school, and her eyes are perfectly normal. Should I listened to the doctors, she would have wear glasses today. That's not only things experts are wrong.

@@seanleith5312 How do you know I am not an expert? The reason people like you are irritating is because you assume that you care about the baby more than the parents. You again assume that your information and experience alone is credible. You further assume that these parents never visited a doctor and never asked them about swaddling. That's my main issue. I've said in multiple places that every child is different. Some love to be swaddled, some hate it. My issue is that internet strangers claim to dictate to parents as if they know the particular baby whose parents they're criticizing. You don't know the child. When children are uncomfortable, they make it known very quickly. My issue is with random people judging new parents. You can disagree with their choice but you don't know their baby. I know many babies who refuse to properly sleep without being swaddled. No doctor has told their parents that it's dangerous because it's not. You think experts shouldn't be followed because of a rare incident? Lol. My cousin and my sister both didn't wear glasses even at the insistence of doctors and now their vision is worse off than they would have had if they had worn glasses. Your experience does not negate the experience of millions of people who benefit from the experts whom you're valuing lesser than your own self. Experts can make mistakes. Nobody said they can't but your chances of making mistakes from someone whose dedicated their life to medicine and has been trained in the field are extremely high.

Swaddling is taught to new parents in the hospital because it gives the baby a similar feeling to that of being in the womb. They eventually get big enough to unswaddle themselves, that’s when swaddling ends. What concerns me are the giant stuffed animals in the crib and crib bumpers. Rule #1 that EVERY parent is told repeatedly, but would obviously rather take the risk of SIDS. Babies DO NOT need anything else in their cribs except themselves, regardless of how cute and plush all the extras may be.

Adults would hate it but babies don't have the same need to stretch that we do. They are developmentally completely different, and swaddling is perfectly fine for young babies. It calms them so they can sleep. If you think it's horrendous it's because you're thinking of what's uncomfortable for an adult, not a baby.

@@asheisadora Babies do stretch. They stretch a lot. Just cos people don't remember being this young doesn't mean they didn't feel things.

The parents in this video did it right. I have then care of 2 infants in foster care and have 60 hrs early childhood education. Swaddling is good as long as child had room to breathe. This baby has plenty of room. She's happy and smiling and still able to move her limbs inside the "swaddle"

Babies love being swaddled, it reminds them of the womb. In some cases it helps them sleep better.

Jitendra, that's because you're an adult. Infants are calmed and soothed by swaddling. It's recommended by pediatricians and it's safer than blankets at night.

In the womb, they actually have very little room at all after the fourth month or so.They aren't that free at all. Swaddling is very much like the womb they are used to and it calms them. It is recommended by baby doctors.

Kathy Croll Hey there. Just wanted to share that the woombje is made of incredibly stretchy material. I wouldn’t advise swaddling in anything that doesn’t allow movement... this particular piece does move quite a bit though even though you can’t really tell on the video. Thanks for watching!

I swaddled both of my kids and they are fine 🤷🏽‍♀️ they wouldn't go to sleep without being swaddled.
