Does he do that shit on purpose just to hype the match up? lmao. His matches are way too consistently comebacks. I have a feeling he could just run right through these dudes.
He's done this at other WAL events too. He's the type of guy who can figure out his opponent on the fly and make the right adjustments. Now that's what I call elite level armwrestling
Freddy Gunnarsen wasn't there physically. But in spirit he spoke to Geoff, "remember what you learned... remember... the deep hook". And so Geoff did, and he prevailed.
WAL has some great competitors, but their refereeing and lax rules in general often compromise the integrity of it's matches. Absurd that you can intentionally slip in a losing position and it's not counted as a loss like Hale at 24:00. In the WAF that would indisputably be a loss.
Heres a number of things they need to do: A) make the elbow flat, none of this oval shape crap just make it flat. It will make refereeing easier to spot elbow fouls. B) Referees grip for every round and match. C) Be transparent and consistent with rules. D) Make it 2 elbows fouls and you lose a round. Three is too much and having it be 2 makes it easier. E) Get rid of Bart Wood and have WAF refs in charge of match like Keith Taylor or Leonard Harkless.
When it was 2-2 between Holland and Hale Holland should of gotten the win because Geoff clearly bailed again. But Bart calls the elbow foul instead. That was no elbow foul, Geoff bailed.
As a person who believes that height plays a big role in this sport, aside from strength I mean, duh, I was surprised when Geoff just took his hand and proceeded to slam Taubin.... Difference in Strength I guess.
@@paraiieisingularity8403 Taller guys are usually naturally stronger because they're usually heavier, which usually translates to them having more muscle mass. Hale and his much taller opponent are similar in size/bigness, both being around the same weight. They have a similar amount of muscle mass. This is why armwrestling is classed on weight, not height.
Are there any lighter weight levels I’m only 145lbs but I used ripe arms off guys 100 lbs heavier than me I 50 now but I would like to do something like this again
Great match both wrestlers deserved the w holland was so close i believe if his elbow tendons whatever was causing him pain kept him from being able to commit with all his strength but no excuses a win is a win congrats hale
I want to know how much of that cash hale is paying the ref, elbow my ass... his forearm fell bellow with holland ontop then he bailed wal rules its a pin... also he needs testing that vein on his neck has a vein on its neck
Tom Holland on every match with Hale overtook his thumb on the grip before the match started and is why he lost the first two matches. Then, like an athlete, Hale made an adjustment and went to the hook... He's fucking great!!
