I love this match. These guys just oldschool Raw Horsepower. No crazy technical sliding around, hanging on, hiding under the table. Just "LETS GO" power.
Everyone projected Matt losing against Jerry. It's the worst style for Matt - so much was known. And Devon isn't the Devon from 2008-2012 anymore after his surgeries. The likes of Chaffee, Todd, Pushkar, Zhokh, Saginashvili, Trubin, Bagent, Babayev, Kvikvinia are superior now. If Cyplenkov is anything like he used to be, Devon won't have a chance against him as well.
I think Matt made a mistake trying to copy Devon's tactic. I've never seen Matt hump the table that hard setting up. Matt isn't as strong in a hook as Devon.

I think that Matt was talking about what Devon told him to do lol.I don't think that getting the shoulder behind and trying ti pin jerry fast is a bad idea,but tbh I was surprised that Matt did better while using his game,he really did better without his shoulder,taking the hand and wrist of Cadorette.Matt can beat him next year!

Pretty sure he can rock a significant beard that would look good even if he has spots, they wouldn't be noticeable. buzzcut might definitely better for his hair though.

Under the Table Todd is nobody's comfortable opponent. Probably because very few people in the world can curl a 275lb man hanging under the table on their wrist
That was a cool match. I like Matt he just needs to work on his mind and he'll start dishing out the power he has in there. Fuck i'm glad i got into this sport. Arm Wrestling's fucking awesome.
@@piro4351 Nah.....i dont think Matt would be able to hold Todd really. As funny as his technique is.....its not easy to do, and his pressing strength is enornous.
I believe if matt can get todd's hand close enough to the pad and quicky reverse into a press he could win round 1 and 2 but after that he would be gassed

Todd came up with a new tactic as much as I think its bs one but nonetheless he evolved or devolved lol. With that queen's move I call it and some ref support he won. Devon knew what todd was going to do but didn't adapt or develop a counter move. Devons attacks aren't impressive either. Just take a step back and look at it objectively. Not as a fan of either men
+Chet Chelios you can't win when the ref doesn't call the fact that his fucking tricep is the only thing in contact with the pad. Neither is he calling the OBVIOUS shoulder below the table foul.
Lol devon couldn't move his own arm in that match and he said it not with all that weight clamped down on his arm, todd has improved his wrist and grip strength as well, he said that he actually clamped his hand tightly onto devons wrist not allowing devon to climb higher / walk so basically todd stood there and trapped devon in a position where he would have to work his ass off just to get out of, which in turn gassed him out giving todd the win

I find Jerry's style of arm wrestling equally as controversially as Michael Todds. Jerry never starts with his shoulders squared to the table, he wouldn't win as often if he did.
Considering how Matt mask arm wrestlers dudes who have almost 100 pounds on him and how he still is able to hang is very impressive. If he gained weight, I believe he would be winning more matches against these dudes.
